I took it again just now, and answered as best as I could, and now was deemed a Dragon. To be honest, if I played this game, Dragon would probably be chosen anyhow.

I tested as Dragon but I don't think I'll like playing as them, so I picked Templar. I would have chosen Illuminati but the faction description said they include ego-centric movie stars. Unless you can purge your own faction NPCs, I couldn't see taking orders from them.

Not big on the factions, as I have a specific origin and world attitude for a character in a world like this one. The factions seem to step on that a bit.

That sounds like a good idea. None of the factions really sound that appealing to me to be honest. I usually don't like Neutral options in games but given our choices I think it would be more fun to play someone not aligned with any of them.
