Bylos has been very active on the forum today.

Asked about the state of tokyo he gives a rather detalied answer.

- Environment almost completely done - polish work to go.
- Gameplay work proceeding - still lots of missions to implement. Design side is mostly done.
- Animation and monster work - More of a "?" with the closure of the Beijing office, but still plenty has been done.
- Cinematic Production and Writing - Barely begun (but this is pretty normal).

I got to say that's a much better response than just the Soon(TM) that FC coined :)

And keep in mind the 'writing' stuff can just mean 'writing not implemented in the zone'. They might still have stuff actually written, just as they have plans for years to come, overall.

I think this is the cinematic manuscripts for the quest givers. The story is probably already laid out.

TSW is a lore- and story-focused game. They probably wrote the stories (or at least relatively detailed drafts) before designing the visuals.
