Tried posting this on the officail forums but not gotten much feedback so i figured would see if anyone over here has much insight.  Basically i get less tha most of the time i get less then 10 fps in Secret World.  I dont get it my PC is only like 6 months old and I getting this running on low in Direct x 9.  Here are my PC stats:

Intel i7-2600k 3.4 GHZ

16 gb ram

Win7 64 bit

Nvidia GTX 580

i am using a SSD to run the game as well.

I tried using every setting that would help but at such low FPS it makes te game almost unplayable.  Just hoping there might be an easy fix.  thanks for any insights

In another thread to help someone else with an issue a poster thought it might have been their anti-virus software giving them issues. Maybe it's constantly scanning the files in use (TSW) and slowing down the game?

Run a quick test turning it off and then try running the game?

Itried the antivirus off and did not work.  I just dont get why it running so badly for me.  I have tried everything that people have suggested but nothing works.  I never had this much trouble getting a game to work properly.

I don't know if this will work, but just going by what a poster said in reply that they got a major boost in FPS. Follow directions carefully so you can undo the registry changes if decide to.
