I wanna preorder and play Friday but there is no word on whos getting in... Im a poker player and if I dont play Friday/Saturday/Sunday I lose money... I would sacrifice a workweek to play this game over the weekend. Why havent they posted news?

 

Oh yeah, and I emailed them about 4 times about my forum account not working and it still doesnt work. (its been 10 days)

 

Just saying, off to a bad start in terms of communication.

Well what was said is that it will be done in waves. The dates of those waves are not hard set. I'd say go make money man. friday-sunday the casino is filled with bad poker players ;)

They mentioned early access will be based on 1st  come 1st served, they advertise you can get upto 4 days early access, its a safe bet you wont get in on their 1st early access day if you order today.

THe add clearly states upto 4 days.

THis is what was said in the FAQ :

By pre-ordering The Secret World you will also get access to these exclusive rewards:

  • Guaranteed Early Access to the game, up to four days prior to the game’s official launch
    (If you pre-order you get at least one day (24 hours) of early access. Depending on availability you get up to four days. The availability is settled on a first come, first serve basis.)

SWTOR did it the same way and if I recall correctly everyone was playing by day 2.

Despite my better judgement, I almost purchased the Lifetime Subscription because the game, with all its flaws still had entertainment value. Then I remembered one fatal flaw in the game... no faction lock on servers. Sorry Funcom, you almost had my $250 though.

Nope live support is still availeble, just talked to them concerning a minor issue.

It all depends on GW2 release date...

 

Currently i the game is online for sale for €35 overhere in an onlineshop, if that includes a free month, it might actually be a nice change of pace to pick up till GW2 releases.

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package)
Worst MMO experience : FF XIV

Glad to see you gambling with your money and not mine, as I'll not be wasting my money on this game and that's one bet I will win. If you have any sense you will stick to poker and not wasting your money on this game and you have more chance of winning at poker than getting a result from this poor game IMO. But if it floats your boat then I hope you have fun in the game and that's all that counts.
