VERY promising title :) I was starting to worry there is nothing interesting on the horizon :)

Well I wish them success, but they are going to have trouble getting past all the negative empathy generated by their past releases.  Trust is something that once lost, is difficult to regain.  I think many will take a wait and see attitude towards this game.

If anyone can remember with their release of AoC all the comments from the Funcom staff about how much they learned from the problems with AO.  To everyone's consternation most people found out after playing AoC that they hard learned little. 

Looks OK. I hate his comparing of TSW and AoC.  AoC had a good launch, are you kidding me ???  I thought AoC had one of the worst lauches ever and he says it was good. Hell i dont know, should i cry or laugh. A good concept that could fail misreably. I really hope it works out, as its a different team than AoC.

LAUGH at me now but I BELIVE that this MMO has the potential to be the NEXT WoW. I am looking forward to it. After all WoW was that DIFFRENT MMO when it first came out.

I hate that they keep saying 'Great Launch".....but guess what? It WAS a good launch for Funcom, selling 800k+ copies...but a CRAPPY release for the players..

So, in all honesty, he is not lying when he says "Aoc had a good launch"...good old wordplay...

He doesnt even have enough faith in the game to say people will choose it as their main title, Ill watch this game, reserve whether or not ill buy it until closer to launch.

Failcom, it will take a lot to clear your name. I doubt this will do it.

Oh and saying you go for the casual gamers and hardcore gamers = failed kiddie game. I have yet to find a game that caters to casual and hardcore gamers that didnt fail extra hard.
Its like saying you're making a burger for meatlovers and vegans at the same time. Just dont try, wont work....but you still try to lie about it.


Oh, and every time thay say something like that, its just casual. dumbed down game mechanics and simplified to the extent a monkey could play it.

I would avoid anything Funcom does until at least a year after launch. After what happened with Aoc would have to be really amazed by a game to give them any of my time. and with Star Trek and star wars comming Funcom is dead to me :)

I like the concept.

And I don't really care about wheter or not Funcom has failed in the past. I don't care about achievements in the past, but only about the present.

Exacly, tbh what game beside maybe lotro with engine tested in 2 other years old titles had a good lauch recently ? Minior details. I had fun for 2 months in AoC till i quit for a while to check WO that had one of worst retial xp i a very long time. That game have like the most ineficient engine used in mmo recently. Basicly the beter pc you have the worse it works and the graphic is not that impresive to even make it worth it... Oh and at max lv only thing to do is to grind same thing 10000mil times over and over again :) GJ :) Gave that game chance twice once after retial i hit max lv got bored fast quit and recently before i came back to AoC again, not much change.

I think some ppl should check AoC now beasue this game have one of the most efficient engines on the market atm (dx9 only atm, dx10 still is being tweeked even if available) AoC runs about 2-3 faster than WO for me + much smoother not mentioning 10x beter graphic and  something to actuay do at max lv w/o doing same thing over and over again every 15min 24/7 :P
