Not content to tease their fans with images from the upcoming armor and model overhaul, Aventurine is now in the business of teasing us with new mounts! Darkfall Community Liason Laenih took the official Darkfall forums today with an announcement of two new mounts: the "Tribeland Bear" for the Mahirim, and the "Blue Tail Runner."

The Tribeland Bear mount will be the first racial mount for the Mahirim, and will possess "brutal force and fighting power."

The Blue Tail Runner, on the other hand, marks the beginning of a "new generation of mounts." The key difference being that the Blue Tail Runner sacrifices hitpoints for faster running speeds. The idea going forward is to introduce a number of mounts that serve a specific role or purpose, differentiating themselves from each other by utilizing different skills or abilities.

Unfortunately, the artists were only willing to let us take a peek at the Tribeland Bear, you'll have to wait a bit longer to get a glimpse at the Blue Tail Runner.
