Here is what one person had to say in there own thread, 11 years sheesh.

Alright then, new computer is up, bank, cbank and villa given away, subscription canceled.

I have some fond memories, some of the best I've had in gaming actually, from before the last year and a half. I should have quit back then and lived with the fond memories, but I lingered for another year and half with the abuse of a ridiculous company, and sadly leave the game now with a bitter and foul taste, and nothing but contempt for AV, which is a shame, after some 11 years of following the game from before Razorwax was even created.

Have fun. Those of you who still enjoy the game, don't let me get you down with negativity.

Goblok signing out for good (or until the unlikely event someone capable takes over the game, ie no-one in av being involved in any way).

Most people posting are paying players, me included:P

When a game offered open PVP with full corpse looting - you get these kind of vindictive players - plain and simple.

Its not the players, there wasnt any update of substance since summer.  Then there is the wipe matter also.

If you add a little bit in the mix like server lag for one week  then everything explodes.

Make promises about Darkfall "2" launching in August/September

fail to meet any promises

Occupy Darkfall begins

There is not a single person who has played DFO who thinks you are a good enough company to actually run this game at all, let alone bring it to its full potential. PLEASE sell it to another games company that actually cares about either the game or its customers (preferably both) because you clearly care about neither! You purchased an amazing game from another company, worked on it, released it terribly and slowly ran it into the group through your terrible terrible management of every single aspect of being a company, from customer support, to moderation, GM policies to customer relations, up date info, to actual content! You are a terrible terrible company, please sell DFO,

Pretty much this. I quit way back when simply because the community was so bad it wasnt even fun to play. If they opened up a PvE server, I would go back and play in a heartbeat because I greatly enjoyed the game, I just couldnt stand the players that flock to those types of games. 

I really thought this game might be able to make it over the hump and begin to grow slowly like EVE did.  Then I saw how AV managed it and the direction, or lack thereof, that they wanted to take.  It is sad because this could have been an indy sandbox success story.

oh it's a riot all right......

This is a niche game, not for everyone. We do not need all of you and NA1 is healthy.
