Hello

Characters are now backed up after inactive for over 30 days.  Once the characters are backed up, the name become available.  As your character was in backed up status, you will need to choose a new name for the character to be able to activate the account.

Please provide us with a new name for the character, so that we can make the change and activate the character.

i was unsubbed for just 2mnths, im not even really sure now if I can be bothered.. what a joke.. yes its just a name, but still all those people that could just not sub for 30 days to avoid being hunted down in game due to changing ones name. Rather stupid.

does sound pretty stupid and a rather awful trick to keep people subbing their account to avoid loosing their player names. i imagine it would of been extremely easy for them to keep player names like all the other mmos do. Or at least have it based off over a year of inactivity but 2 months is just mean.
