I left a few months back. Pop was going down drastically with AV speaking about a possible wipe and not clearing it up.

Do not know many people that want to play a game where a char wipe is possible:)

Thats understandable.  They need to launch something and get people back or announce they're not wiping.  I think im going to hold off and see what happens.

there is little reason not to just play the 14 day trial and see for yourself.

See what for yourself?  The OP is a long time player who is asking if the game is worth revisiting right now.  With 2.0 coming...someday.  And maybe a character wipe with it.  You can see why the OP is hesitant to resub.

yes, I understand he is hesitant to resub, which is why I recommended he use the 14 day trial to decide for himself if he should resub. I didn't think it was that complicated of an idea.

Yeah when they said they wouldnt need a wipe but then everyone ignored it and assumed that meant there would be a wipe.

Or are you talking about when the project started and tasos said flat out no wipe?

There isn't going to be a wipe, and they scheduled a free weekend for a week after Skyrim comes out (genius).

Like Azel said, the free "come back" period starts in two weeks, so wait till then.  Thats what I'm doing.  I'd rather not start another trial, just to grind some stuff, just to die a lot, just to stop playing the character.  But I've been getting that itch too.

If you need some neckbeard to tell you to play this game, you need some neckbeard to tell you to jump of a cliff.  Just my 2 cents.
