Also, if you decide to go for the free trial, suggest starting an alfar. The Sanctuary city is in alfar lands, good spot and lots of active people around in the guild.

I check DF forums more often, so if you want to have the best chance of beating out other contenders, use the DF forums PMs.

I think individual clans are helping new players now on NA. The definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. When will developers (and players) become sane? Now go eat some grass like everyone else.
