Its basically a re-launch, like the vets have been saying since DFO 2010 was announced and we dubbed it DFO 2.0 (which is what DFO 2 really is)

Wiping the servers is being disuccessed, but with all the changes to the game its not nesscary, but should it happen, it wouldn't be a drastic change.

Say what?  I'm sorry, if I've been playing for two years and they wiped the servers... cancel sub, how would wiping the servers not be a drastic change?  A two year post launch server wipe?  Even Tacos can't be that stupid.  That would be like shooting yourself in the face with a 45 to itch your nose.

If maxing a character only took 3months then a wipe wouldn't really matter.Even if characters aren't wiped, banks and geo-politics have to be.

 I don`t like the thought of losing my 1000 rare ingots and million of gp, but what choice does AV really have?

They can continue to watch the steady decline of players, or they can do something to get new and old players to the game. How many are actively playing the game these days? Do we still have 500 like we did a year ago, or is it more like 150? If they can get back 10 players for every disgruntled vet that leaves, I guess AV is happy.

They will have to make Darkfall2 appealing for new players by fixing what they did wrong the first time, and that is fun vs work. It looks like they finally will reduce the boring stuff this time. They have to make the game work on playerskill and not levels like today.

Frankly I don`t really care if they wipe my vet char or bank. If they don`t get lots of new pvpers this time, I`ll wipe the game from my harddrive :).
