I have been playing Dark Fall for almost 3 months now, and done pvp/pve, and level quite a few skills to max, anyways, recently I have encountered a problem with Dark Fall Cheaters in game.

As I know from playing Dark Fall players can hear a person if they are running, Riding Horse, or casting spells & such, however I encountered an issue where a person knew exactly where I was crouch walking, jumps off a cliff casting a fire ball, and direct hits me with it, Sounds kinda odd doesn't it? He knows exactly where I am and gets a hit right as soon as they jump off a cliff?

Second Encounters, I have seen at least 3 people over the past week using ESP/Wall hack which is quite obvious in this game, as the same person knew exactly where I was and killed my character, as I moved around way off into the distance, and went afk near a mining camp as if I were actually mining, same person comes over and takes a kill exactly as he did the first time, I am aware people can hear by sound, but when a person follows you and knows exactly where you are after you have moved around 2-3 times after they first saw you, Then you know there is obvious hacking going on espicially when you are quite aways from where they first found you.

As it is forbidden to release the names of hacks, or give links to cheats on these forums, I will say that I have found two hacks related to dark fall, and was able to find just by doing a google search, which have videos of these posted on You Tube showing people how they work and all the such.

This game maybe improving a bit but when people are using Wall Hacks/ESP to know where you are it just totally ruins the game and makes it not playable, not to mention the people who have hit dead on with arrows every single shot over 15 shots 100% Accuracy it is just insane.

Oh yeah besides cheating, the ammount of people using macros without being at their keyboard is just insane, and the ammount of people using afk mining tools without being at their pc is just insane as well.

The game company really needs to start handing out some bans, and or suspensions to these people cheating, and using automated game play.

Welcome to the world of Radar and Aimbots, my friend.

It's unfortunate, and relatively rare, but it definitely does occur in DF. I've played since a few months after NA-1 launched and I've only encountered radar hackers about 5 or 6 times.

Aimbotters are a little more common, but you can tell if someone is aimbotting usually because there model stutters around awkwardly while they use the bot. Obviously that visual queue won't help you survive, but at the very least it gives you some ammo for when you report the hacker (which you most definitely should, with screenshots/video/as much evidence as possible),

I will read the OP after, but i just want to quote you right now.

What you call aimbots are not aimbots. We call that pixel detection. Its not worst, but a problem. Im not even sure if AV consider pixel detection as cheating since its an other form of Autohotkey script or something.

There are 2 kind of pixel detection. You either use it to jump every time you land on the ground so you can bunny hop(Only old school fps gamers know what bunny hop is) There is also the name color pixel detection. Players mostly use them against red alignment. They use green for heal other.

Pixel detections are not suppose to be game breakers since with archery or any other spells, you need to shoot where your opponent will land or you will simply miss all your shots. The real problem is when they made Rays instant cast. Now, players use pixel detection + rays to have 0% chance to miss.

There are many videos posted on youtube where you see players using pixel detection.

You got Itwas Luck who renamed himself as Try Hard.

Try to notice how fast he spin to target his enemies. From his point of view, its not different then playing wow.

And this is impossible to do with pixel detection. Anyone can bunny hop, but not that long. Also, notice how much HP and stamina he got left while doing it.

i was in a clan where a few of there members had some kind of radar hack which told them when ever someone enter the zone. making it impossible to surprize gank them. when running dungeons on nippleheim i can hear them on vent talking about enemys entering the dungeon.

unfortunatly Aventurine has basicly no way of detecting this kind of stuff, it makes me sad

This hack is called "having crappy hard drive". You can practically count how many enemies are coming by the length of load lag.

Situation may improve with new version of client (multi-core), but load lag on slow PCs will never go away completely.

To be honest I haven't seen a hacker in about 2 years in Darkfall.

Why do you think an hacker have to be so obvious to make himself being counted?

Hackers is like those who invent virus, you have to battle them everyday like you have to keep your viruscheck always on and react to threats the viruschecker reports accordingly.

Basing on that analogy everyobne should immidiately report such suspucious behaviour and help the whole playerbase by reporting it.

Sometimes i have a strange suspicion, because AV has a null tolerance policy the players think often such behaviour is acceptable and allow such practices if they see it  or don't actively report it.

Example a poster some posts above thought there was radar hackers in clan ? report it !  macroers ? report them !

People get banned ! and using the search functionality like the OP suggested and hitting certain sites even proof  that by posts "uhm i have been banned by using xxx', 'using xxx is insta ban" etc..

-----MY-TERMS-OF-USE--------------------------------------------------

-We finally WON !!!! 2011 $OE accepted that they have been fired 2005 by the playerbase and closed down ridiculous NGE !!

Or something.

You are being paranoid . .. who cares?

The worst thing that is going to happen is if someone makes an effective macro that hits you 2 times while you are basically an easy target from jumping or being shot in the air. You don't need a macro to do what is in those videos. Try having some faith in player-skill and also understand that some people know this map inside and out so it doesn't fucking matter if you blind them if they have headphones or something. Its just a part of the game and some people play better than aimbots because aimbots suck in Darkfall and sure cannot hold up to real player skill.

So tell me honestly RealBigDeal . ...  how many times have you fought any of these guys in the videos? Just wondering why you even care to be paranoid about someone you do not fight. You are saying that Itwas Luck is cheating in those videos? That is ridiculous. You are linking some videos of some guys playing Darkfall. Do you have anything more tangible?

I say that you can take him down without any cheats if you keep playing this game . ... a lot ....... ... .. . . ..  .  but its the hardest game out there and if you ever do something epic in the game than you can guarantee that someone is going to claim that you are cheating when you are not.

@OP

You cannot even say Darkfall right. The best game in the world is called Darkfall. D-A-R-K-F-A-L-L not dark fall, Dark Fall, or DARK FALL

NEWS FLASH! A bank was robbed the other day and a man opened fire on the customers being held hostage. One customer zig-zag sprinted until he found cover. When questioned later he explained that he was a hardcore Darkfall Online player and knew just what to do.

Firstly, it's fairly easy to bunnyhop that long. Notice how his longest bunnyhops are all done on flat land. The timing is much easier. 8 out of 10 times I can bunnyhop like that, provided it's flat terrain. Secondly, he has high mouse sensitivity. If you're not able to turn on a dime, you're probably doing it wrong.

As for the OP, there's virtually no overt cheating left in the game; I haven't even suspected someone of cheating for about a year and a half. I PvP freQuently at most locations on the map.

A lot of MMO players aren't used to FPS mechanics but instead are used to tab targeting. For those unfamiliar with FPS games, going up against someone with extensive FPS experience can be overwhelming. Often times when an unexperienced player fights an experienced one, accusations start to fly.

What ever you say doesnt deny the fact that he is using a pixel detector or something. This guy replies to most of my comment and he already admitted that he use pixel detection scripts. There was also a video where he shooted a begone way too far and he started to jump 3 times in the same place even if he failed. In one of his video, when he chase an other pro player, he says(You cannot beat my bunny hop script)

Im good in darkfall, i once bunny hopped none stop too for so long. When you are on a flat land, it is easy i know, but if you are a fan of Itwas luck and check all his video, you will see that he is obviously using pixel detections. Also, did you notice when he had 1 hp and stamina left? He kept doing it.

Check out more DF videos. If you really believe that they place mouse sensitive at max or something, you will see how wrong you are since its impossible to target someone that fast or perfectly do a 180 degree without failing once. You can also see players spinning so fast that is like moving from frame 1 to frame 2.

I never faced one of these players with these type of scripts, but there are guilds who force their members to use them. For example, TSL (The Shadow legionaire) Most clans who invite vets only force their members to use these scripts.

In fact, if you check out most TSL videos, you will always see something wierd. There is one where once you see the player getting blind, you can see the chat log, minimap, hotbars... transparent like he is trying to hide something. I keep wondering why no one dare to attack them in the water even if they got more players.

I've recently heard rumors about new radar hack on NA-1, and GMs manually tracking suspected players and banning them.

Nevertheless I still can't understand what advantage it may give in dungeon. You're pretty much aware that someone is coming, due to mob spawning sounds and load lag. So why use radar hack ?

might be so you know how many people are coming or who it is, also its not always easy to check on your ping increase and get a right estimate of how many people that are coming.

what i understand of the load lag its tied to how much stuff people have in their inventory, so a high ping could be 1 guy with a lot off crap or 2 people in robes, and you should probly fear the 2 robed people more.

but for how many hackers i have no idea, i just know every game has em
