No, just 2 days ago RipperX asked to follow another group of people on a siege so he could fraps. If Mercs was playing he wouldn't need to tag along with another clan.

As far as the population goes, if you seen 10 people in a city then I'd say you was very lucky or you happened to catch some china farmers banking. Because the NPC cities are fairly dead as is, human lands is the most populated area as far as NPCs and I see during my time  (8am EST - 11pm EST on and off all day long in human lands) roughly 2 people per city average. The most activity is near center dungeon, bloodscar and Espenhal averages about 5 guys there until 6pm EST when some clans log in then its more like 15 guys.

The popualtion consists of people loggin in to seige and small groups searching for pvp at night 5-10 guys. Anything over that is a rare happening.

i have resubed 2 days ago after 5-6 months i wasnt around and i see at least 50% more people than back then... 3-6 different people running through a city i am in and its now human lands... the world is huge its normal to not see lots of people specially in starter cities or near that since most people are on clans and gathered at their clan city... this game is definitely not dead just yet...i imagine that WHEN Aventurine really deliver the new BIG and most promised expansion that everyone is waiting for about a year now...the game will be alive and healthy populated again!!

Reminds me of FallenEarth... great game but very small player base at the moment.

Sector 4 and some combat revamp changes are suppose to be coming soon and bring people back to the game.

what is killing that kind of games besides of some epeen pricks is the company that does the updates veeery slowly.... i have played many mmos and the slower updates of all are on this one....

even the most simple things take ages to be fixed or adressed...  and the client is in open War with ATI Video Cards making things very hard for all of us ATI players still now after almost 3 years of release... i have 6950  i7 2600k , 8gig ram and external sound card and i have 1fps with maxed shadows and 40-70 high on empty cities....

The game has my gpu always at 100% with shadows on that my system hangs when i decide to watch a youtube video while im in game..no enough gpu horse power... LOL..

I got max 508 fps with high shadows and some other tuning amd 6970.

Game is rather polished, but i agree it still need improvement but its not bugged or have alot of lag it plays great.

Dont forget its small INDIE company  with no big cashcow behind them.

I think most are negative becouse its all to hardcore for them and then start blame game for lack of updates:(

If you like hardcore pvp with full loot and just know how to have fun this game ain't bad and plenty to do in Darkfall.

No need for afk,macro or exploiting btw.

i like the game as it is...my system runing it very well so its ok..but devs need to do something to keep others....  ibelieve its one of the best games but its verry harsh for the default player thats all ....
