But then if you look at the actualy number, you will find that there are 7k clanned players - and then the unclanned on top. So it's more like 10k than 200.

The last time that I logged in a small town in Dwarflands had almost 10 people hanging out in the town when there used to always be none or close to none over a year ago and it was actually so dead back then that it was a good place to macro.

The population has increased since then.

The last time that I tried to log in I was 'queued' . .. better not have to start dealing with that BS though. I'd rather have 200 players.

If Darkfall only had 200 players then the game would be closed down... It isn't.

lol 200 players.. there are many many more players in this game at least on the EU server anyway...

And over the last few months more adn more people are coming to this game for the first time, and lots of verts coming back to the game..

There is active pvp every night, enough active in my guidl and alliance to do anything we want really :)

No idea where u got that 200 number from tho lol..

To the Mercs you dont dominate a game by exploiting/macro 24/7 thats called cheating. You came so far on EU-1 becouse of all cheating your clan have doner for many months from day one the game launched.

But your videos where great i can't deny that.

well they are not the only one..98% of the game population does that or at least afk swiming now and then...the other 2% doesnt know how... or they are too lazy to do so... i was in the 2% cause i was too lazy and didnt gave much attention to pvp..i was in Darkfall cause of the amazing world,mobs and to be part of some raids just for the epic feeling.

The sad thing, is macroing and the use of 3rd party program are not cheats anymore. Im talking about 3rd party program like autohotkey to press more then multiple keys with 1 button and cyclying more then 5 different keys by mashing 1 button. This is AV's fault since the game UI is horrible.

In DF arena, the next expansion, they will adress the UI so we probably wont need AHK anymore to be good. Currently, you dont need to macro since you need to save your gold to meditate. What i mean is, you need gold to macro so you can do it infinitly unless you are rich as hell. Specialisation like destroyer/mage killers dont need to macro at all. Ok, few spells only, but they dont even take that long to become effectif. The majority like 90% of the population doesnt even macro anymore since we can meditate while offline to raise your stats to 100, your magic school and defense skills.

In DF arena, there will also be a new equipment system. If you equip a set of armor, you will become restricted in some spells/skills and better with some. The more you mix up, the more you will become restricted i guess. Its more like a class system base on what you are wearing. In fact, the only hybrid left will be the nakeds.

Is that video serious? I wasn't aware that there were people who actually spoke about video games like that. How sad for him.

Since someone is at the keyboard and not an idiot why should this be considerated "cheat" -it was never one as long as you at the keyboard ? 

In oldskool games it was common and some of them had an in-build macro language (if not all of them) for this. We mature who experienced the time this genre got invented and we not idiots and can handle seting up commands for keyboard and customize our gaming environment to our best liking and we like this oldskool type of gaming.

Don't try to label absolutely rational, legal and somewhat cool (at least for people who favour oldskool) behaviour as cheating.

Describe forms of afk macroing and botting in the future please if you want to describe such behaviour and make that distinction.
