AV is refreshing this site over and over again so they can raise the UNIQUE hits. What's next? AV is sending suicide bombers to Cinderella?

 It's quite funny. The butthurt vaportrolls will invent any story to discredit Darkfall. 

 Lord Tasos knows how to stir the pot....

I doubt AV is influencing the hits on this site. Chances are its ex-dorkfail followers/players such as myself that like to check in for the occasional giggle now and then.

2-3 minutes after I post this: 2 reponses and 24 unique views

 I guess these smart folks who dig around for all sorts of obscure clues that Darkfall never existed never stumbled upon the fact that there was a spotlight update today that linked to the MMORPG forums...

Yes, because it shows up on the main page of mmorpg.com, congrats. It has an interesting title as well, leaves you wondering what all the dots lead too.

you should feel very special.... cause the site doesnt have a ticker that refreshes every few seconds listing this at the top of it causing it to be easy for people to view from the main page or anything.. btw, love the use of 'vaporware' for an existing game. makes complete sense.

Wow... what you said was smart - it shows that you don't understand what I'm talking about. I was referring to the time before Darkfall came out, the ancient "trolls" claimed that the game didn't exist.

The point of this thread is to contradict the hungry trolls who say that the hit count was manipulated by AV

No I think I understand what you're saying. You're basically listed the rediculous things the vaportrolls keep coming up with right? They aren't very ancient, the same ones are still here, still trying to bash Darkfall, for a reason nobody understands they devote themselves to it, and now that the forums are subscriber only, they HAVE to stay here instead of dropping their discord and propaganda over there. 

I said that Kaiser didn't understand. He misunderstood me because he probably didn't check these forums before DF released.

Couldn't agree more.

I would just be happy with my money back or a game that couldn't be hacked so easily.

You should have read reviews before subscribing, it's not for everyone. You can't follow a questline and be handed everything you need.

I for one don't think it's AV, but someone is definitely doing something.  A mod even came on a post within the past couple of weeks commenting on it.

As we sit, 24934 unique hits for a niche game, versus the 7316 of a "mainstream" game.  Now come on, someone is manipulating something.  This topic is running through another thread, and the big jumps in numbers were noted, and times and such, and it does not add up.

Is it AV? Doubt it.  Are these true to life, down to earth unique hits? They are about as true to life and down to earth as MTV's "the Hills", and that is to say, no way in hell.

I'm not saying DFO can't get some hits, plenty of drama around these boards, and people are drawn to drama, but 24K is a bit out of the realm of feasibility, especially since we see the same 5 people (okay, give or take a few, but you get my drift) posting here day in and day out.  24K unique hits, and we would probably be seeing quite a bit more faces posting on these boards.

Darkfall has ALWAYS been a hot topic here, for the past 4 years. The only thing that knocked it off the top of the list was the new Star Wars MMO when it was announced. 

we got to the bottom of this early this morning 

its the twitter account with 1k subscribers that has 10k+ tweets, that gets spread around more and more with twitter users.

Its nothing illegal and it's not a bot, just twitterers clicking on the updates as they come along (such as this thread)

Wyrd, if this was meant for the poster above you, he said nothing about questlines.  That line of thought is old and tired, and is no different then saying go back to WoW.  You want to defend your game, then defend it and attack the points head on.  Put the rolodex of generic insults away please.
