 Actually I agree, Adventurdtine needs to branch out into casual gameplay. Minesweeper clones maybe.

 I really do wish a big company would make an ultimate sandbox ffa pvp game, but we have to rough it out with the little companies.

Credit Adventurine and Darkfall.  They just showed the rest of the MMO makers out there how NOT to do a sandbox MMO.  It's only going to make the other guys make better games.  Thanks Adventurine!!!!!!!

Why should they? They're still selling out of thousands of copies of the game almost as soon as the shop opens, and the game offers what no MMO has since 1999, and brings in revolutionary twitch combat to boot.

This is exactly what they are doing.  EU will be first to fail a few months after the transfers. If they dare charge 20 bucks or more to transfer from EU to NA it will fail even faster. Of course the cheating Mercs will still be there making videos but in order to play the game they will have to find the mechanic that allows guildies to kill each other. Its Sad the direction this company took I was following this game for the longest time hoping it would be "the game" when in fact its a joke.

Because wow give you the illusion that you never lose. You keep winning. You are the best. Dont stop, you will make it to the top so fast because you didnt even lose once. Even if you die, you are not dead. You have infinit life like number 8. Thats why there are many wow no live. Many of them failed at life. They losed many time at life so they finally give up. In wow, they never lose so they keep playing the game. WOW is a life full of winners.

Thats what game like wow tell you and thats why kids like it. every time i play some competitive games with lil kids, can be on xbox like halo, fighting game, even super smash bros, any wii games, any competitive game where you can feel that you lose, those kids start to cry and at the end, they dont want to play anymore, After a while, they come back because after they become grown ass boys, they now want some chalange.

Eve online: It was a pure indi game too. many said that it sucked and look at it today, 300 000 subs. Darkfall release way more early then that game and we did better then when Eve was release. So base on record, i think we will get 300 000 subs faster then Eve did after many players find their mmorpg bad and want more pvp.

DFO dont even have an asian server yet. So dont wonder why we still have a small amount of subs compared to those who already have asian server.

Thought I'd chyme in saying how funny it is this guy cant' spell Peace even though the person directly above him spelled it properly.

Darkfall with its flaws is so kickass and has revolutionized gaming being the first one to successfully have a huge no-instanced world where players can create cities/hamlets and conquor/defend them with FFA PVP full-loot.

No other game has done this.

Play Darkfall for a year like I have and going to another game will feel like someone took away your freedom and your ability to jump in many ways. The physics are really kick ass and make the game a lot more fun to simply move around and go from point A to B. I play other games on the side and just logging into them and what it feels like to jump around is pretty weak compared to Darkfall. Makes me constantly think things like, "OMFG your kidding me? I can't get over this little fucking hill?? GRR If I time my jumps right it does nothing? Crap I have to go all the way around this big mountain and I cannot go over it so I have to put on auto-run and steer because there is no way to launch myself forward or to gain momentum by timing my jumps or using some spells to get my up the mountain.

Other games have a lot of limits and just having to go back and forth from point A to B with auto-run only is really annoying. Yes sir, OK I brought you your ten rat tails and now you want me to go back and collect 20 teeth? No problem ::hit auto-run and steer back to that same spot for a few minutes until you get there . .. too bad you that invisible wall blocked your way and you had to run around it::

I laugh at how fucking retarded and ignorant the common posters on here are. First off, it's Aventurine. Not Adventurine. Not Adventdurein. Not Advnwertnwaouieth';as.

Secondly, Darkfall has a wonderful playerbase of aproximately 5000 players. Which is PLENTY to sustain a small company of 20 employees. Have you ever owned a business with under 20 employees that had a customer base of 5000? I don't think so.

Thirdly, Darkfall is the best of its kind out there. You all have rediculously stupid ideas, and are probably some of the worst additions to the MMO community. That's why you lurk on these forums and not on the official forums.

And finally. Don't diss a game you don't play. That simple. What's the purpose of it, other than wasting your time? Nothing. Go get an education, learn to spell, and stay the fuck out of other people's business so they can live happily with a game that they enjoy.

I have to say reading this trash makes me want to call the owner of darkfall buy the company and burn it down. Darkfall is ffa/pvp loot all items for griefers lesson one a mmo cant be succesful if you take away the persons hard earned time in one fair swoop. For example if i was the highest ranked char in darkfall and you spent 15 days maken a peice of gear and i walked up to you and killed youre worthless ass in one shot took that gear . What would happen, first you would send me tells crying like a 2 year old then you would threaten me and last but not least you would cry through a fit blow up youre keyboard and rage quit. SOE tryed the pvp thing along time ago in game called everquest and it got shot down for that very same aspected . Hardwork in a mmo that everyones paying the same sub for just to have some pot smoken does'nt work plays with lightsabers in his moms basement, dreaming of usen the force on some fine chick he can't touch . Come over and steal all of youre hardwork ,just because the welfair checks come easy and mom wont kick you out of the basement does'nt mean youre the shit in a pvp game .Darkfall is for euro trash with nothing, they have'nt built a game worth shit and wont ever build a game worth a shit .

Wow, just wow. I want to respond to this hate filled diatribe but i don't know where to start. On second thought, I give this troll 5/10 for gettng me to respond and as a side bonus for posting in a thread over a year old about a game he hates.
