I have been waiting patiently now for many months now for the next mmorpg I plan to play. I have (and I think rightly so from what I have seen) ignored the hype from the big games like AoC and Warhammer and so far they look like mostly rehash.

The game that I have been desperately waiting for has been Junpage Evolution.

Until last night.

I watched the Darkfall trailer and read the FAQ about it on this website. This game appears to have taken the best from the old school games and the new school ones. Its like pre-Dawn UO playability with modern concepts added as well.

This is definitely the game I have been wishing for for a very long time: PvP-centric, skill based instead of class and level based. You can loot your enemies, kill your friends, hire npcs and monsters to go solo if you like, steal from people.

Oh boy! Just oh boy! This looks like it is going to be hot!

One thing tho is not correct . Having pets for soloing isn't in anymore, this got clarified in last Q&A session...

Tasos said something about  "raise an army of players"  instead of pets.

They need to update the Overview  for this game on this website then. It still says you can.

They dont really update anything.  Something you should get used to right away if you are going to follow darkfall.
