Just a quick question as to how everybody found out about Darkfall.

And I realize some people found out about it because of MMORPG, if so, then that's great, I just want to know, more or less, where everybody else heard of it. 

And if the way you found out about it isn't in the poll then post how you found it.

Jonric: Can you speculate yet as to a possible release date?

Henning Ludvigsen: At this stage we can only guess. And we are guessing Q1 2003.

We also learned that Darkfall was close to starting pre-alpha testing.

Yeah right, its been "close" for 7 years.

Jonric: Where does development stand at the moment? What are the next major things to do? What are your plans for alpha and beta testing?

Ricki Sickenger: We are at pre-alpha stage, meaning we got the engine up to a pretty decent level, the server side is working, and we are slowly building the actual game, and adding features. The next big thing right now is to get the pre-alpha out to testers we will be picking from our community boards. We are serious about the open development, and want our potential players to help form the game both by posting ideas and comments on our boards, and by helping us playtest the different features of Darkfall.

A friend told me.

I was complaining about no good PvP MMO to play, and i didnt want neaon name tags above the head on my character. Then my friends just told me, take a look at Darkfall.

Darkfall trolls posting in WAR's forums during its development.  I decided to check the game out and have been following it loosely for awhile.  A little more closely now since WAR just wasn't my cup of tea.  Following Mortal Online a little as well.

New recruited guild member  told me year ago. We decided as guild since  to participate. We really on fire since and maybe we had a bit luck to join at a decisive moment. (no one will deny that the last year was  the best  for DarkFall )

Think I stumbled upon it back in '01-'02 during a break from Ultima Online I was browsing for something new. Saw DF n thought it would replace my UO fix....Signed up for beta n all...a few times now.

a co-worker that i played wow with told me about it, it took me a while to youtube the video "darkfall is comming" once i saw that i was hooked

stumbled upon it when my whole guild (at the time) was banned from SWG after making a video of messing with people...SOE actually had a meeting...you know actually did something, amazing isnt it?...

anyways, we were looking at sandbox games we could go to...then i get unbanned and laughed on. didnt last very long, unfortunately.
