Something smells fishy. If Darkfall is so great and it's the mmorpg everyone has been waiting for, why the lack of information? Where's the in-depth explanation of how crafting and adventuring work?? Where's the youtube video of a person playing so we can see the UI and see how smooth the combat looks during real gameplay?

The video that was just released a few days ago tells us nothing. Any clown can turn the UI off, jack up the graphics on his high end PC and record some pretty 3rd person video in game.  And I don't care that the devs said the video was recorded on medium graphical settings. I don't buy it.  Besides, it wasn't really impressive anyway. There were quite a few choppy and dated looking scenes. I imagine those are more along the lines of what the game will actually end up playing like if it ever sees the light of day.

Where is the equivalent video from the Darkfall devs? What are they hiding?

Anyway your correct for them not showing the UI or other aspects of the game people wanted to see like crafting etc. I think at least for darkfall this was a huge step in the right direction to show us they actually had something. Maybe they will add another video soon.

Tell that to their European publisher, I think they'd like to know. REALISTIC PEOPLE would say the game is coming out, they just don't know in what manner of quality. You're just a troll.

Give a game a shot befcore you decide that it's good or bad.  Of course, it won't be anything like Age of Conan. It's not like they haven't had enough time to make a complete game or anything.

There must be thousands of other things to do while waitng. Ohh wait! Many that come here are not even wating for DF? Thats wierd.  And still they are very keen to give us a "professional analysis" of Aventurine and Darkfalls development.

Aventurine is a even smaller Indie developer then Icarus (Fallen Earth), and they have to work in their way. Maybe thay will pull it of, maybe they wont. Everyone knows that.

And about the video, i think the OP knows you dont have a UI when you play. If you need it you puch RMB to see the UI....and then you remove it gain.

But seriously, there were so much information in that video. If anyone looks at it..they will see most features. Aventurine is famous for not rubbing information in the face. As the finishing move at the end of the video. They dont make a big fuzz about it.
