I somewhat agree, the mount animation is nice but everything else looks pre-DAOC/Shadowbane.

Quite honestly, if you're passing on a game because the graphics at medium settings (on a game that calculates twitch combat and physics to this scale) then I really don't think this game is for you.

Also, I thought the animations were quite good in THIS video, better even, which is weird, because both videos are on medium settings. www.youtube.com/watch Specifically at 0:27 (shadows look great too) and 1:13 seconds in. My opinion anyway. Graphics are more than passable, and (my own taste here) a massive leap above WoW and WAR (if  a bit gritty)

 

I guess you didn't see the part where I said this game probably wasn't for me.  Did you really need to quote me to point out that the game wasn't for me.. lol

 

Also, graphics has nothing to do with the animations. I still firmly believe as do many others that the animations are stiff and look like they are at least a decade old. Considering Darkfall has been in some form of development for nearly 10 years would support that theory.

Then why troll here other than to cause trouble? If WAR is your game, good for you, go post over there. Why the need to bash Darkfall?

Who is trolling, I gave my honest OPINION on what I thought of the graphics and animations from the video that was released. Just because you don't agree with me you label me a troll.

I might actually give the game a try to see how it plays. I just don't like the graphics or animations, after 10 years in development you think they could at least improve the animations.

By the way, if you look at my quote to the left of the text box you will see that I am NO WAR fan.  It reminds me to much of WoW.

more like 7 with gfx engine and gfx upgrade 3 years in.

my bet animatins will be worked on before release and some effects Oo but the vid was only medium settings
