This is the game that should of hit the market instead of WoW. This will redefine PvP, PvE, and character developement systems... all while having a player driving economy and being a sandbox... some minor downsides to the game but fuck it, this game has all the features to be an amazing game for years to come and to set the standard of what this industry was when EQ and UO where the big guns.

yes this is all fun and games and i really like darkfall but for you not to get flamed 1,000000000 times on this forum for saying this they will have to show some proof.

Ya good concept on paper, but where are the proof? Isnt there is a video preview coming? How many actual information are there? All the ideas dont do any good if they are not implemented (AoC example).

I disagree.  I don't like WoW but I think WoW had let a lot of new people to get into the MMO gaming.

I don't see anything abd in having non sandboxes MMOs.  Many people don't like sandboxes.  Other do.  Some of us like both.

This game won't redifine PvP, PvE and neither character development.  This game copied most of its features.  If you had said something like UO defined skill based system, that would had made more sense (of course, it would had been discussable too).  DFO won't difine anything.  DFO will bring back a lot of fetures that some people like.  And that's good.

FFA PvP success will depend a lot in how Aventurine designed DFO.  If they do it badly, we will jsut have another FFA PvP game that will just mutate into having "restrictions" to the FFA.

Which is the only FFA PvP game that had stayed like it was originaly?  SB?  I can't think of any.  I don't remember if EvE had the safe zones at start, I think it did... so it has enough restriction to not call it a pure FFA, imo.

The driving economy will depend a lot on the design and we know nothing about it.  All we know is a list of written features... and there resides the problem.  Written text is hype.  I hope the game release and I hope the public beta is before the end of the year.  So we will know what players say and we will know the truth.

And EQ is not the best thing to compare with DFO.

I am sad that AoC was a failure.  I am happy that I believe WAR will be a success.  I hope DFO, Mortal Online, etc are success too.  I want options to play!

I saw your post in WAR forums.  I saw your post here asking for hype this game.  I hope you understand my opinion on all this: MMOs aren't football teams.  There are millions of potential customers.  Each day more and more people get internet... youngens get older and start playing online each day.  If a game is good, you will have a lot of targets.  This is not a competition where "my MMO" defeated "your MMO" because I am not owner of any of the companies that produce MMOs.  If I had stocks, then I would be diffierent HAHAHA

So this is my opinion, I dont see this like a competetion and I wish DFO the best of lucks, if it ever release, because I may enjoy it.  For now Aventurine credebility for me it's going down... they have the rest of the year to, at least, release beta so I will regain faith in them.  Meantime, you may try to play SB or Ryzom (once they let people create new accounts) or EvE or some other MMO... there are games similar to DFO.

Disprove?  I wrote my opinion not a disprove to anything.  I didnt look for disproving anything.  I see you are not ready to discuss anything because you are not ready to listen others opinions.  I did see some incorrect points in your post and I did point them out (like comparing EQ to DFO).

After seeing your post history, I consider you a troll.  You went to bash WAR (I guess becuase its the next releasing MMO... you would had bash Aion or Mortal online or any other MMO if they wetre about to release), jsut because they arent "your MMO" and you have to win... who knows what... but you have to win something.  Then came here asking for Hyping DFO.  DFO doesnt need your hype.  It will be a success or a failure on its own merits.

You mean the ones like me that have followed the game for years yet nothing really new seems to come out about the game? Perhaps if you had followed the game for more then 30 minutes you might actually see how Tasos has manipulated the fanbase to produce hype without actually giving any concrete evidence it is in the game.

Every time the masses start to raise their voices in anger Tasos just makes the carrot bigger without delivering on what he has already said.

Stick to the official DF boards with the delusional fanboys who think this game is the second coming of Christ. There is a good chance that when this game is released it will have a life cycle closer to shadowbane then any of the successful MMOs.

how long have i been waiting for warhammer? 2 years? yea I think 2 years and look at it now it's releasing in fine shape, good game play and fun pvp!!

Darkfall never will release and will never beat the laws of gaming in a no instance area.
