How much media material do you think Funcom, Blizzard, SoE and others have before promote their product? Yes, they have a big PR department working with the material and 1 TB is nothing.

I'm definately not defending the guys over at DF, but UNCUT to me means a rough idea of what your final clip will be. 

Like someone else said though.  A TB of RAW video is not much at all.  I would guess no longer than 30 to 40hrs.

it depends on how there raw footage is it could be any where from 10-40 hours depending how big there raw footage is per min

I wasn't really taking the rez into accountability.  I guess I was just thinking about when I have done RAW captures.   So you could be right about it being around 10hrs, but I doubt they would do it at that high a rez.

Please don't put too much weight on a video. Aventurine is making a video for their fans and not to prove anything. The good news however is that the game will not be released before it is finished and that you will be able to try the game out before you spent money on it.

Being a photographer, you can take shots in a raw format. I can only assume it works the same way for video, but for pictures it's a much much bigger filesize. Now to a hobbyist like me a terabyte is pretty huge, but I don't know if it would really be all that much for video. Then again I don't do video that often.

You do realize what UNCUT means right? That means the video was NEVER cut from its orginal state. THUS meaning that they never had a terabyte of video since the UNCUT video was only 15 minutes. Get it now? No? DIdnt think you would.

So why should this Brannoc guy even be believe when he has been caught in an obvious lie? A terabyte of video no matter how crappy it looks will be 15 minutes.

Thing is i was in that chat too and what Brannoc said was that there is 1 Terabyte raw footage and the end video will be somewhere between 3-15 minutes and that it would blow our asses. I didn't see him say anything about 15 minute uncut footage.
