Tasos showed up to that Greek game developers conference with a recorded video that was 1 year old and another fly by video showing some buildings that was a few months old. Why didn't he just show up with the game client and a PC and login to the game world from there?? |

What game client? They have a game world they've probably completed but no telling how big is actually is. And they have some videos they've programmed bots to do exactly what they want to show inside their virtual world. (It's very easy to see that no players are actually playing, even in the videos where they want us to think so) Why would Tasos bring a broken/unfinished/very buggy or non-existent game client with him?

Almost everybody (apparently not everybody though) knows it's easier to prove it's a few bots then it is to prove the vid was taken on a live server ;-) So the better question is: can you provide proof they aren't a few bots? I can do everything they've shown in Torque too... that doesn't make my game a MMO. |
