They restarted NOTHING(except the graphics) , they took over where they left.

The game has started in 1999 and we are in 2008, almost a decade, not 5 years like the fanatics like to claim.

There is no way in hell Adventurine restarted from "scratch" 4 years of development (1999-2003), stop bs us with your lies, you have no proof whatsoever.  Darkfall has been in development 9 years and is aiming for a decade in 6 months, dont listen to Aragon and Downtoearth.

What are you talking about?  Of course people have interest in whether it comes out or not.  It's not like there is any other game anywhere near release that can offer what DF does.  Maybe you havn't noticed, but some people arn't happy with todays MMORPG's.  That's why there is a reason to wait for DF.  I can't speak for anyone else, but that is why I wait.  These are the discussion forums, not the trolling forums, which if you look most of the threads are just for trolling.  It is fine to be skeptical, but the OP is a self-confessed troll, he has no intention of playing DF when it is released.  Why would they have any interest if it comes out or not if they don't plan to play?  Fanboys have a reason to be interested since they plan to play, that's why you discuss things, because it will affect you when you are playing.  I would think they would praise the DF devs for actually designing a game instead of just making a EQ clone even if they don't plan to play it.

Aragon100, why is it necessary for me to post facts that have already been posted about 893, 339 times before?  I'm simply arguing against your logic that Darkfall has been in development for only 5 years.  I'm saying that Darkfall has promised beta and release so many times that by now they should have lost all credibility to any sane gamer.  That you still have faith in this game is fine.  That you twist facts around to validate your faith in this game is not.  Believe it or not, i wanna see this game released just as much as you do.  I just won't believe it til i see it.  Until then i'm just having fun poking holes in peoples logic

Razorwax merged with Aventurine late 2002 and game were restarted from scratch midsummer 2003. So midsummer 2008 DF of today will be 5 years old. Theres shitloads of Dev statements where they state Dev time starting summer 2003, guess it was to hard for you to find yourself? But then again youre here to troll so why should you make some digging on your own?

 Game of today have very little to do with game under development before midsummer 2003.

2001 was start date for Razorwax development. 1999 is something you made up to make game look worse.

So 5 year is development time of game of today. Youre very poorly informed about the game and i suggest you read up on the game before making any more stupid threads like this one.

Official release date is 2008. This can be read in last Dev Journal, you didnt read that one, did you?

Game is just superb, it will be the best game ever, a revolution among MMORPG games. Way, way better then the shitgames were offered today, like AoC, WoW and other carebear games. You see kids, this kind of dribble is very common among the DF fans.  All they have to defend their 'game' is wild extrapolated theories that amount to nothing more than speculation.  Aragon100 is such a tool that he takes it one step further:  he splits hairs.  Nevermind that the game of 1999 shares the same name, the same theme, the same promises, the same features, the same developers . . . hell the same everything as his 'totally different game of 2003'.  Nevermind that, year after year, the DF devs give us the same song and dance about imminent beta and release.  None of those facts mean anything of course, it's not the same game!
