Egnar writes: Don't be fooled by other comments for this game; Players were tricked (and begged) into posting something positive. . .The developers called coming here to post a "game quest". The truth is Outwar has been around for many many years and it's complete crap. The game is designed around waiting in an irc chatroom for between 1-5 days while you hope that the boss you want to kill spawns and you get to kill it before another guild. . .Which usually lasts 1-3minutes. So basically you spend all week waiting for a 5 minute moment in time. Sure there are solo quests to do, which admittedly do keep you entertained until about level 40, however, in an effort to keep people from whining the "CoEs" quest line which is probably the only questline in the game that takes more than a day to complete is so mind numbingly long and boring. Some parts of the quest have you collecting 300+ items from one specific mob with a drop rate of less than 10% per kill. . .It's a farce to prolong the fact that the game itself lacks a lot of meaningful content. The one thing I like about this game is that just about any item can be acquired for free. . .Until you get to about the midway point equipment wise. From there if you want to be really strong you need to constantly spend $50 per run to head through an instance with drop rates so low that in 10 bosses you can literally see absolutely nothing drop, with the exception of the one piece of equipment that has a 100% drop rate - Most players who choose to go this route end up having some decent luck in the begining but have to run the instance 50-100 times ($$$$$!!!) in order to complete their sets. So basically, if you hate yourself this game is awesome but frankly. . .There are thousands of other online games much more worth your time. Wed May 19 2010 9:34AM
NiMoKe writes: Very addicting game. You can choose to play it for hours a day, 10 minutes, or whatever you like. You are not forced to sit around for hours to do raids. I like the elements allready in game, which i posted some screen shots of. Lets hope more cool game mechanics gets added soon, to give it a facelift for us veteran outwarriors! Wed May 19 2010 4:12AM
Sylencedarke writes: I have been a long time player and greatly enjoy the game. Some times the changes can be puzzling but thats what makes them fun. it makes you work and think and read and strive to figure out the new content instead of handing it on a silver platter. Tue May 18 2010 7:20PM
