1) this game isnt F2P correct? I understand that this is a game designed to be very similar to WoW (iam not a hater on this format)

2) Hows the PvP?   is the PvP large Scale and Small Scale, or only Small Scale (like Instances and such)?

 

3)Hows the PvE?   is it Large Scale and Small Scale, or only Small Scale?

 

4) What are all the Gear Slots per toon? (Exam: Head Slot, Shoulder Slot, Hand, belt, Cape, Rings, ext,,,)

5) Does this game Support Fantasy Looking Gear? (Similar to WoW and such, with Large Weapons and stuff)

6) How is the Class System?   Whats the unique feature of the Classes? What are the Unique Class Combat Mechanics?

7) Hows the Crafting System? (if there is a crafting system)

8) What are the other options of gameplay, when not Grouping for PvE and PvP?

9) Is the game Solo Friendly?

10) Better then RoM?

No, it is not F2P. It is currently priced at $40-50 for the box, and $15/mtonh

Does not yet exist. They hope to implement it "in the future"... there's a good chance the game won't make it that far, but...

 Very similar to WoW, on a smaller scale, but no raiding options right now. They have some very ambitious plans for PvE content, although I have no idea when it will be added to the game, or what the quality of it will be.

Sames as WoW, basically.

Same as WoW, basically, just not quite as good looking.

Similar in many respects to WoW, limited now to 4 classes, but with the option create talent builds allowing every class to Tank, DPS or Heal. More classes to be released in the future. Eventually.

 

7) Hows the Crafting System? (if there is a crafting system)

Striking similarities to WoW, but has an offline training system as well. Not sure of the value of the offline training, to be honest. But that makes it pretty different.

 

8) What are the other options of gameplay, when not Grouping for PvE and PvP?

Although there are planned options for later releases, from what I saw I think the answer for when they go live is "nothing".  Mob grinding for rep and XP may be required, though, as there aren't enough quests for level advancement I'm led to believe.

 

9) Is the game Solo Friendly?

At this point, yes.

 

10) Better then RoM?

Fans of Alganon will say that it might be as good. Most others are quite sure it falls far short.

 

Read up carefully before you buy. They're charging a premium price for a really limited product. I personally was disappointed in what I saw in beta in terms of gameplay, as well as problems with movement, target selection and, well, a lot of other stuff.

 

I personally am staying on the sidelines for a while with this game, as I suspect many others will as well. Even it's most ardent supporters have a hard time establishing a unique selling point other than the "community" (which is fairly tiny) and faith in the vision of the developers.

 

I was testing it for a while, and made myself log into WoW right afterwards to clearly show myself the differences. While Alganon may very well have some better graphical elements, it has nowhere near the level of polish it would need to convince someone to drop another game and play this instead.

 

Many folks (myself included) were hopeful about Alganon, and to some extent still are. But getting large numbers of gamers on-board is going to be more difficult than they're ready to admit.
