deestep writes: Upon playing the game, I realize what it is trying to accomplish, and to that extent it succeeds. I regret that the game I had seen in the promotional videos and read about on the site were not entirely the features of the game I found inside the CrimeCraft box. Am I still playing it? Yes. Am I enjoying it? Quite a bit, to be honest. I just wish the ideas of 'turf control' and a persistent world were actually realized and meaningful. Furthermore, it's hard to feel like a scum of the earth style criminal when all I ever seem to do is play capture the flag with a group of random, extremely deadly strangers. All I can say is if you don't mind repeating the same four or five instances (Two if you aren't heavy into PvP) and the idea of only the barest of bones of 'traditional' MMO style play (Equipment, level and skill tiers, quests, crafting) there is a surprising amount of fun to be had. Had it been the game I was led to believe it was going to be, I would probably not be playing anything else. Sat Sep 19 2009 1:15AM
