IGG has announced the start of the closed beta for 2029 Online, along with a contest and prizes.

The 2029 Online (http://2029.igg.com) Alpha testers have been raving about their first impressions of the game and can’t wait to see what the Beta testers have to say about it. With the Closed Beta having finally thrown open the floodgates, our CB testers have been diving into the intense real time combat of this post apocalyptic world and so far, they’ve been like kids in a brutal, fierce, bloody candy store.

Notes

1. For those of you that were involved in the Alpha Test, you don't need to download the client again, simply update the client automatically or manually to get in on the CB fun.

2. Alpha testers who continue to help out in the Closed Beta test will be rewarded with a special weapon worth $50.

1. All Closed Beta character data will be kept, so don't worry about losing your hard work.
