2029 billed itself as a free-to-play skill-based sci fi MMORPG. The game put players on the alien planet of Helen Continent, choosing from three character classes in a struggle for survival. 2029 focused much of the gameplay on co-op quests, quick leveling, and plenty of customization options for equipment and vehicles. Vehicles had their own ability to level up along with characters, a unique game element among other MMORPGs. Players looking for fast-paced dungeon crawling with a ton of character customization would have loved 2029, despite its faults.

• Human: After the destruction of Earth, Humans came to Helen Continent to live, bringing with them their love of politics, wealth, and guns.
• Dryads: Known for their peaceful ways, the forest giants combine their brute strength and connection to nature much to their advantage.
• Electric Elves: Not much is known about these elves, save that they have a very high intelligence, are somewhat vain, and prefer to keep themselves and their society away from ‘civilized’ places.
