    The RuneScape dev team has officially announced the release of the Clan Citadels expansion for the game. Clan Citadels brings new clan headquarters improvements as well as the much-anticipated and customizable clan battlefields feature.   • Clan Citadels Expansion to Feature Floating Castles

    RuneScape devs have announced the Clan Citadels expansion that will be released on July 26th. The new expansion will offer new citadel options including a floating castle. Notably, the expansion will also feature clan battlefields which will allow clans to generate custom game play experiences using the Battlefield Editor.

  • Phishing Scam

    RuneScape developers have confirmed that a very legitimate looking email is being sent to players that is, in reality, a phishing scam. The email indicates that the recipient has received an infraction for the use of macros and tells them to click a link to review the issue. Therein lies the problem.

    There's a lot coming to RuneScape in June if the latest 'Behind the Scenes' newsletter is correct. Not only will a new and imposing sea monster be unleashed on the world but players will also have new wearable buff auras.   • A Quarter Million Guildies

    The Runescape team has released interesting data following yesterday's Clan Update. According to Runescape devs, over 33,000 clans were formed with over a quarter million players joining. Over 350 clans have 50+ members. All of this data was gathered during the first 24 hours of the Clan Update.

  • New Novel Coming Friday

    Jagex Games Studio has announced the release date for the second tie-in novel based on Runescape. Called "RuneScape: Betrayal at Falador, Return to Canifis", the novel takes off where the first book ("Betrayal at Falador") left off. Penned by T.S. Church, the novel will be officially released on Friday, March 25th.

  • Clan Celebration Month

    The RuneScape dev team has announced that the official Clan Celebration Month is now in full swing through April 3rd. Devs are promising a month full of adventures to highlight the best aspects of the clan system and to shine the spotlight on the large variety of clans within RuneScape. In addition, devs have announced that the next bonus XP weekend will commence on March 11th.

  • Update Information

    The Runescape team has sent out the latest "Behind the Scenes" peek at updates scheduled to be implemented in the near future. March will see the implementation of the Elemental Workshop IV quest and the Artisan's Workshop, an update to the Smithing skill. Additionally, March will feature a double XP weekend, Ring of Wealth improvements, graphical updates to Trollheim and a new pirate quest.
