I don't think it's been scrapped, we would have seen something on MMO sites by now. But with all the delays and such little amount of info being released etc it isn't looking good. Even if they finish it the competition, which is other sci-fi MMOs in the works (far to few to be picky) is looking to absolutely smash mechscape or whatever they like to call it now. Games like The old republic and Infinity: quest for earth are going to steal all the sci-fi fans and I doubt anyone will quit Eve for it. |

The project mechscape is no longer being developed on. A new project using an updated version of whats been made so far of the mechscape engine is currently being developed. Can't find the exact quote but someone from jagex said something to this effect. This isn't a signature, you just think it is. |

The current CEO is probably better than the last one, but I think it's all come to late. I doubt they will be able to develop and launch a game that's going to pull back all the players they have lost, and change their bad reputation among gamers. |
