After thinking about it, we are kind of like the vets from SWG (except not nearly as mad ).  Although we (Devilicious, sometimes AkaJetson, and I) always seem to argue with people who think RuneScape is still good.  In the end, we are victorious, and we go back to living our normal lives.  We argue about how Jagex ruined the game with the updates back from Nevember.  We are a small but proud group!

Anyway, like the SWG vets name their "Pre-CU and NGE or whatever, what are some reccommendations that we should name RuneScape after the update? 

Like Pre-WT (wildy &training).  I dunno, any recommendations lol?

We are the vets of RS, and proud of it!  lol

PS.  This thread was all in good fun, no need to flame =)

Edit-  Definition of vet-  people who quit the game and are angry of what Jagex has done.

LOL! Mike you  are cracking me up! hmmm a name for this group of outraged ex scapers... never thought about it that way lol. Though some of us are angrier than others. .. Hmm what about flea infested furry monkey holes? .. oh no that doesn't sound right... hmm maybe  Pissed off ex-scapers?  "POES" lmao we could be "POES" vets  lmao.  People would be like wtf is a "POES"? rofl. Then of course the flaming would begin .. they would be calling you a POES ho , and singing songs about the "POES" !  " There was these poes they had no toes but it was easier putting on their panty hose...."HAHAHAHA!

Yes, my mind is truely that sick and twisted.

You know, ages ago, about 2002ish I saw Runescape and laughed at how bad it was. How it was so simple and easy and how so many people were addicted to it. Compared to the games out at the moment, it was a laughing stock (DAoC, AC, EQ, UO).

Now however, after WoW, and its various retarded spinoffs, I have to admit that Runescape was(back then anyway) a more complex, challenging, and rewarding game than any MMO in recent memory. Which is sad, because in no way shape or form is Runescape a GOOD game.

No not in it;s current form.. you are correct it is not good in any way the way it is. But if you took the good things from the game and made a better game with them .. you would be a genious.

oh man its been forever since I played this game.  Like you said I started out pre wildy.  WAY back when it first started.  I played up until a couple months after they added in the graphic update.

We have decided on POES. The pre-jag or pre anything sounds like a rip off of swg vets lol.

Be afraid of my plastic sword! I stabbed right through a beer can with it lol. *is not afraid to use it!*.. I couldn't bring my real sword into the club hahaha!

It seems devil has some stalkers. I thought this was Runescape forums, not  the Deviliscious stalker fan club. Why do guys follow around all the attractive ladies on forums running them off? That is no way to treat a lady. 

yea I know a girl can't go anywhere.. You would think that in game forums you might actually get less harrassment than going out to the club, but these days I think fourms are catching up with it. I am done responding to people that follow me around posting about me. Please do not change the thread discussion, if you want to go start a thread in spam called" the life and times of deviliscous" go ahead. They never stop when I ask them to so I am going to do the next best thing and ignore them.

Sucks to be you devil. But hey. Seems geeks needs something to drool after considering their social-life is almost null.

Anyhow, Rs vets? Ookay. So i would be a vet too right? I played when the game was released and all.. FFA pvp everywhere and such.

Wan't to know what was my real turn-off fro the game? The "revamp" I hate the graphics,music & special effects. Could it get more lame.

Then again, it has probably the best skill build ive ever seen.
