Ummm.... RS is a grinding game. By the way RS has like some of the worst graphics of any other MMORPG.

I think even if runescape has this graphics upgrade(its a pretty good one at that) the only reason why ppl play htis game is cause they havent tried any thing else.

there just wrapped up in their own little RS world i say why not leave them there and give up on them.

Just look at themthey seem happy enough.

but the truth is that it is a grinding game and the bots in the game are crazy!

Their attempt to fix the game have put to many restrictions on the game and they really screwed it over plus the first thing that happened to me when i first logged in was that 20 mins into the game i had immature little nine year olds follow me and call me noob

. Most people who played runescape have most probably not tried out any other MMOs. They most likely think that runescape is the only nice game to them without having tried out any other.

Runescape may be a grinding game, but as you reach a higher lever which takes about a month. The whole world opens up to you, according to your level there are many things you can do, i will list whatever i used to do in runescape that was actaully fun.

-King dags

-Wilderness (pvp - 1vs1) (f2p - 1vs1 & team pking)

-Duel Arena (Big income from that... i could then use the money i earnt on skills using expensive materials which took way less time to exp)

-metal drag hunting

-clue scrolls

-and many many more... figure out themselves yourself

Anyways, Runescape may be repetitive, but what other mmoprg lets you multitask? I mean you can play with multiple accounts, or do simple tasks like fishing or woodcutting and do whatever else you want. Afterall it requires you only to check the screen every minute. For example you spend 2 hours watching anime on veoh or youtube, but instead you watch that and play rs at the same time. Makes it more fun, and in the end of the day you feel proud like you have actaully done something, and yes i have done 16 hours sessions. As you go on in the game you get to meet many interesting people and even establish many close friends. You can make videos on youtube with some nice gameplay and then have people adore you which is very nice. Maybe make some quick cash from selling a few mils to a friend irl. Runescape is the only game i know which does not require you to kill a certain ammount of monsters for quests, and have an actauly story line and one big story line can consist of a few quests. These are only a few things not even 5% id say about 0.1% of what made runescape worth playing.

First with facts

before the update- 40/200 frineds online at pretty much anytime.

After update - 1/200 frined on line on peak hours.

Even thought it says 200k players online ... servers seem to be empty.

Bots made purely for money making and then selling for $$$ are f2p, and Jagex said that only the 6k of member quit. This means than many more players than only 6k have quit... and some how people buying/selling runescape gp that i have msns of... still seems to be having good business somehow.

Most runescape players play with multiple accounts which are usually all member.

Whenever i played runescape i payed for my membership with runescape money (1.5mil for a month) on about 3 accounts.

The amount of 6k players who quit is not accurate as all the updates didn t happen all at once but in a long period of time. And afterall, it takes a month for the subscription run out.

Because people played with multiple accounts, most of those accounts are pure pkers or stakers, which had no further use after the updates which made many players quit as they felt as if their time was wasted

Enough with the facts... Now my opinion :D I am not going to play a game which i have to pay for and that does not listen to the players wants. We pay and we should decide. Bounty Hunter does suck, maybe it s fun for a little while but then it gets really boring as there is not real income from it, i have a really pimped pure and i earnt about 500k in a week from bounty hunter. P2P when We could stake more than 3k i could make millions of gp every day. Recently i decided to mine (with autominer). I got this low only because of Jagex and yes after about 2million of mining exp, i got banned, and guess what... i got banned for 10 days with only 10 black marks as about 3 years ago, i got muted for a month and 5 black marks for swearing at some noobs. Jagex did ruin the game... and whatever you have to say  about them not runing the game, i will be able to prove you wrong.

I played RS for about 3 years on and off and it was pretty fun.  Got some friends and stuff.. had a blast... Didn't fancy pking much till i started getting some cash... (Around lev 80 haha I was poor for awhile) and the updates came... I could have lived without the wild.. But trading.. WTF!!! How can you mess that up!!! You get TWO accept screens for a trade and i ALWAYS look at both... Bots though.. EVERY GAME HAS THEM!!! Does it matter that people are making money off it... THEY HAVE NO LIFE!!! WHO CARES..... How can you NOT say they didn't mess up the game... Anyways... thats my opinion on this matter..

The best parts of Runescape were removed in the fall updates last year. Yes you can go earn pixel junk for yourself now, but you cannot help your friends on the game anymore because of the trade limits. Just in case you were not aware, selling items to friends for real cash is called Real world trading and is against the rules, and was their reason for ruining trade on the game. There is no more wilderness, just mini games for pvp left.. I am guessing you haven't played in a while by your statements because alot has changed in recent months.

Agreed. They killed the game with their bad decsions. RIP Jagex.
