Ugh, it sickens me to see all the people say "RuneScape sucks! The graphics are horrible go play WoW! The graphics are actually good!" People that say that are probably like 9 year old kids that dont know crap about games. I personnaly think graphics are good, but the gameplay serioulsy kicks butt. What other game has all those skills thats not combat, all those mini-games most of witch are not combat and is only 5 bucks a month? No downloads as well. Now, another issue is peope say "RuinedScape now, Jagex ruined it" Ffs, they did not ruin it. They did all of the updates to kill bots! And bounty hunter is pretty good, if you dont like it, its probably because you get your ass owned because you suck -.- The trade update..big deal you cant give stuff to your friends. Boo hoo! Would you rather not be able to give out free stuff, or not get scammed and have bots gone? The game isnt even a big grind, if your bored of a skill, go to a mini-game or train a non-combat skill. So stop playing for 5 mins and saying the game sucks because of graphics, when you dont even know crap about the game.

I'm no 9 year old kid. In fact I'm almost 4 times your age and I've seen game and game systems come and go. I played PC games back before Windows when they were played on DOS. I played console games when Atari was king and Pong was new and I can say with certanty that Runescape IS AND ALWAYS WAS a crappy game.

Well then, even though you played those games, you obviously didnt know bull about them. Probably played them for like 5 mins and then threw them out the window. Even if you did know about video games, you probably just looked at RuneScape and said "Oh, its crap! Dont play!"

After reading your recent posts, you say that Jagex has messed up the game too much.  After that, you come here and tell everyone to stop complaining...? 

And I have played this game for 4 years.  Jagex ruined it with their half-minded updates, and you know it too.  Bounty Hunter does suck, and so does F.O.G. (which is also pointless).  The trading update is pathetic, and the only people they have as their custamor base is immature kids like yourself.

First off, I didnt say I still played. This thread is mostly because of people saying graphics suck. The updates are pretty bad, but they didnt ruin the game. Look at the reason they made them, to stop bots. Second, Im immature? Come to my school and youll learn very fast im probably the most mature in my grade. Why would a immature kid use correct puncuation? Besides that, all the things I said wasnt even immature. Its called reasoning, sure my last post wasnt the most mature, but my reasons? Ha.

After surfing this forum, I am glad to see a thread actually defending the game. I've seen too many threads saying that the game sucks and it's good to read something not like that for a change. I thank you for a good read.

Back to the rest of your thread...  The graphics do suck, so I'm not sure what you're getting at with that.  Also, you must be new and have no friends. Lets face it. You can't help your friends, the PvP is a joke, what else makes it worse?  Oh yes, the fact that the game is actually a grind.  But instead of killing monsters endlessly, you can no mine rocks endlessly.  If you're bored with that, you can cut trees endlessly.   Sure you can do mini-games, but still, they're not even that good. 

And it's not because you suck if you die in bounty hunter.  It's clear you don't play bh or you already have a clan, for us people who liked playing with small groups of friends for fun, that time is over for us now.   It's group up or die.

First of all, the graphics do suck, it's pretty obvious.  If you do think they are good, why don't you look around this site at some screenshots, not all of them are great, but they are better than RuneScape, that's for sure.  Also, when did I say that the game sucked because of it's graphics.  I also once had a great time on this game, so I could care less about the graphics.  Gameplay is always the most important. 

As for the 1v1 PvP.  I know they added in  the arenas and the minigame.  There is no risk whatsoever anymore. 

Also, by friends I meant in-game friends.  Mabye I was wrong, mabye you're just greedy and don't lend things to friends or new players

Also, I fail to see why people like you defend Jagex.  It's fine, you lik the game.  But I don't see why people stand up for Jagex, after they treat their custamors like crap.  They have terrible custamor service, and make updates without caring about what the community thinks.  They have treated their community like crap, and some people are just persistant to stick up for what they do.  They say it was to stop bots, well it doesn't matter the reason.   If Jagex actually though about their updates, mabye they would actually would have thought of a good solution to the problem, instead of screwing their players over.

Ok, I agree with some of your points. I did give things to new players and IRL friends. (and no, they were not noobish items.) Ive given out Rune and things like that to IRL friends, and usually 50k to 100k of cash to online friends. Yes, I will agree the customer support most deffinitly is not the best. I wasnt defending Jagex, just the game. I didnt say you hated the game just for graphics. Guess its time to stop flaming, we have a better conversation anyway. Sorry for all the comments against you. (I am NOT trying to suck up, so please dont continue the flame with that as your reason -.-)

okay, i played this game for 4 years and they DID ruin the game.

every new update they do is for silly kids who complain how hard the game is.

i dont think so- bot are still usable, only they cannot sell their stuff for irl money(now they have to sell their items with whole account)
