In your opener you indicate that YOUR strategy is to send a couple of people east and the rest mid or west.  What if the enemy has the same thing in mind?  "Matching" your enemy would then mean sending more people west rather than mid or east.

Your tactic actually comes down to instead tactics but instead who has more gear and who has the better makeup.

In a map like this PAIRING OFF PEOPLE is more important than these tactics.  If you can combine a Commando, a healing sage, and a Jedi Knight for example as a mobile group in between captured points they will be able to defend all of the points effectively and kill effectively.

By matching people up with cohesive groupings you will have more success on this map rather than trying to figure out a meta game (and its meta because where the enemy goes is hidden unti lthey're almost there) you can just beat them on composition (or gear).
