Well, GamersTube is a pretty heavy player for some reason, sometimes even makes my own pc stutter. Also, is there no fast forward option ?

Thanks for this video! :D

To expand on what the above commenter has said -

There is no way to skip ahead in the video, when you do it tells you what time you have skipped to, but actually starts again from the beggining.

Wow they really should change the named into Trailerware. I will never ever understand why people are going "woo, yey and wow" over some trailers when not seeing a lot of actual ingame footage?

Can't help but think some of those "woo, yey, wow and awesome" screamers are paid to further hype the game.

I really hate it when developers are using more PR tools instead of showing hard facts. Doesn't matter if its TOR, GW 2, Aion or whatever.

This is clearly non media released footage of the game, what I mean by this is the person who attended was kind enough to film it. They did not show any game play and showed mediocre cut scenes take the light sabers away it really looks rubbish. naughty dog have allowed gamers to play beta of uncharted 3 because they are confident in the product they are releasing. It is my belief that EA have banned any proper display of in game footage because they know it will destroy the hype. So they can at least cash in on the retail value of this product. I have pre ordered this game but it's now with grave concerns. I truly hope I am wrong, my gut and past experiences tell me otherwise... - signed by a cynical gamer.

I agree with much of what you have said. I also wobbled with my preorder decision. Another week of waiting for a release date, and I probably would have cancelled the preorder. I was that close to the dropping it, literally. BUT now the release date is out I'm getting  psych'd, even with EA being a part of the equation. MMO players have more reasons to be distrustful of EA than the average sports game player.  Guess we will all find out togeather if the game is great or not.

I still think no matter what the hype and by who, etc the real proof will be in the game. There have been some videos of real gameplay, these are what interest me, not the hype. I'm sure there willl be many things about the gameplay that are familiar and much that is new. I probalby won't like every new thing but this is a personal preference kind of thing. I am really hoping this game will be great, I think it will be. But OMG the hype! I remember the hype for Cataclysm, even a superbowl add for WoW. The companies need to make money to pay the creditors funding the development. I will bet that the forcast for TOR in initial sales is huge. I also bet they have already met the cost of developement, and are going for pure profit. I also bet there will be login ques with so many people(now EU is 12/2011 release too). MAYBE Bioware and EA anticipate the login flood and have fixed and slowdowns, but every new game I've played hasn't figured this out yet. We shall see.

I'm crossing my fingers, and holding on to my huggies. I really how this is gonna be great, and not a raping.

I hear these comments about we can't tell you about Crafting details. NDA so we can tell you about 24/7 persistent world faction conflict. NDA so we can't tell you about.....(fill in the blank).

I feel like I have been time warped to the FUNCOM AOC launch....where they held the NDA right up till launch. Then watched the lemmings spill over the cliffs when players left Tortage at level 20.

I'm not going to be a lemming....again. If the company wants to be cute and hide behind the NDA on some key issues(for me).My money will have and NPA...NON PAY AGREEMENT...until the answers are forthcomming.

I hope you didn't pay a lot for that camera. I could take better video with my phone :P

I'm looking forward to the game, but they sure are being very secretive so close to launch. The poster about who mentioned AoC, is dead on. I'm going to play, but its making me very nervous. For sure.

@Evile: Naw, it was a Flip HD. We are in the process of investigating better video equipment for future shows. If you have any recommendations for something that would do well in low-light, please let us know! :)
