Agreed...why is it that they get people who have no idea about the game or how to play it to do demo's?  I mean you'd think they give them more time to practice so they don't suck so hard.

Wasn't the fight auto-matically ended even if they beat that droid (who never moved, that was weird, 3 huge legs, never goes anywhere.)

I don't know, I had more fun watching a group that got beat up than I would've watching a group that just won and then got shut off anyway cause Bioware wasn't demo'ing past that unmovable droid boss.

Lol I hate it when a player cant strafe and look at the target at the same time.

Start was funny.

Group looking at the entrance :

'Lo and behold!, the entrance of the Eternity Vault!' 'Ooooh'

While in the back a small voice :

' Ehm..guys? Some help pls?..there is this monster that tries to kill me...guys?'

Yeah, there were some funny moments in there. The poor Taun Taun will always get killed by someone. It was funny when the guy in the back got attacked and funnier still when the sorcerer was running TO groups when he got targeted for the AOE attack.

Kind of glad that the lack of pre-order for Oceanic region has put me off this game, because there more I am seeing from TOR the less I am liking it. Wasnt exactly a thrilling demo, especially not when you can compare it to GW2's Gamescom demo of the Dragon event.

The way I see it, TOR will still appeal to the RP crowd, casual gamers and of course the Star Wars fans.

GW2 will appeal to MMO Veterans looking to get more of an 'epic' feeling out of their game, eSports while still offering something to those interested in story.

I hate to say it but I am just not seeing anything new and exciting coming out of TOR, even though I love Bioware as a developer, it just feels like they are playing it safe by using tried and tested gameplay and just giving it a new skin.

Why not play em both, as i am planning on doing. i think they will release alot more with patches and expansions in the future. it will become so much more later, i still love the classic combat.

I saw this earlier with the dev commentary. This video is disappointing...I really don't understand why people so aggressively defend this game, it really doesn't look good...I think "stale" when I watch gameplay vids. I love Star Wars too...I wanted to look forward to this since I passed on SWG but the gameplay looks far too static and un-inspired.

I do think it's a good alternative for people that don't want to play WoW/Rift/GW2 though. I would say it's a solid fourth with only the Secret World or TERA coming close.

Too bad they didnt make a Mass Effect Online instead, this TOR combat system puts me to sleep. I thought they said the combat would be 'epic' ... I guess one mans trash is another mans treasure.

but to give it a chance ,i will wait for release and see what people say about it but i suspect at the begining it will be woooo  this is a amazing game  from the fan boys  and the rest just saying its ok

so i think ill  wait  for  some forum reviews ectra  before i decide
