it looked so boring, everything moves so slow in this game, and it looks like they ae going to give everyone in the same profesion the same armor, i hope i am wrong about this, i hate wow end game because of that fact

I agree that is game play footage and not cinema work.  Not impressed.

Not one opponent took cover, the BH never used cover.

All the targets seems to go down really easy and have an IQ of zero.

Not to mention BH is faction fixed and there is no Player Bounty System Ground or Space.

This game just looks more and more like care bear central.

Looks good, I was thinking Powertech all the time but could end up Mercenary but what I do know is that 99.9% likely my first character will be a BH.

He means that that was edited footage to look like a cinematic.

Its not actual gameplay in that you don't kill a giant robot with one rocket to the face.

Its editted to look like fast paced action, but in actuality, thats not how the game works.

Of course they went down fast.  It is a display of powers.. They want to show how they work, not bore you with  a 20 minute video of the same 6 fights in full scale... heck he may not be able to take on those 7vs1 odds in game.

Great vid. animations seemed a lot better than before, a lot of new npc races and BH skills (nice shiv kill, cool AOE stun), npc's now make grunts and screams in combat, flowing grassy meadows with shading on individual leaves, a glimpse on a few cool armor sets, impressive AI in the insect encounter (if not scripted). And yeah, they had to cut out the middle parts from a lot of fights or tune the difficulty down to make it all fit.

Any other game developer (except Blizzard perhaps) had already released at this time. Thankfully Bioware can afford to be so polish happy.

Hello Kitty Online looks more hardcore than this. Whats with the pawn-all button, if thats how the gameplay attualy plays then this is one dumbed down mmo.

Love the trolls for this game, the amount of ppl that say crap about this game, must mean its going to be a raging succcess. Just look at WoW, its fasionable to troll that game and its the most successful mmo lol.

If ppl think thats how the game is, u should actually watch the other "progression" vids, which show similar things, to show the different unique abilities each spec has, and the sort of armour they where, not the actuall action of the game.

Well call people trolls , fanbois ect.  But the truth is, I love SW, I want this game to be awesome and a ton of fun.  But I agree with so many of the trolls, this game does look bad. 

Unfortunately most people troll because they are immature and think it's the cool thing to do, yet those same people just can't seem to stay away and are constantly hanging around the forums of those games that they supposedly hate and doom to fail. Go figure.

If you like the game you will buy and play it regardless of what anyone thinks but still imho this game looks graphically very weak to me and when i think anything SW i tend to think it needs an FPS style combat system to even begin to capture the essense and excitement of the movies and anything less will just feel like WoW in space only with a deep focus on the story.....

Just my honest opinion as i look at the game from whats presented to me as a potential player with no troll intents..

Why all the bounty hunter costume looks like Bobba Fett? Its 3.5k years ago and the cotume never change much? Can i be a bounty Hunter that looks like an agent or the smuggler?

Not thatcool looking, plus the gameplay failed pretty hard.

Ranged NPCs dont move, enemies (and your character are unresponsive to attacks, this makes the combat look very fixed and boring.

no "atmospheric" blasterfire filling the air like the movies. attacks seam very specific to the encounter, which seems from a design point they will limit the range of ways you can defeat enemies, in order to tie it into quest dialog - which i think should be kept to single player games.

I love SW, and the kotor games are among my favourites, but the gameplay surely looks slow, and not only from this video, but from the other released. I do hope the devp would change tht, the truth is Im gonna play it anyway, but wouldnt like it to be like Rift, I not even used the whole 3 months I bought with it, haha.

Holy grail the game vid looked awefully boring... so asume the bounty hunter is joint-less and should waddle back n forth, except when he hits the rocket boost and flies around seemingless invunerable, just cuz he's airborne. Cant hit things in the air... Lucas must really feel like Midas, make everything he touches to gold, even stool samples like this

I don't blame the trolls at all for complaining. Simply because these class videos aren't served on a silver platter of explanation. Apparently it takes a scientist to figure out these are simple scripted videos to show off powers and armor.

Regardless, the less WoW kids playing SWTOR, the better.

I'm a Star Wars fan. And when I say Bodymodels + Armor look like they are on Steroids I am not trolling. I am scared shxxless that the new SW game looks like spacerobocop for kids. Everyone is like from Fallouts Brotherhood of Steel. I mean come on, what is this need for turbo&supersize style for all armor? They say they want it to look more like a game. I say make it look more like the Star Wars people are used to.

I'm a huge KOTR, ME, and DO fan. I love Bioware. 

But man the game looks like it's sole target demographic is a 12 year old boy who has only watched The Clone Wars. 

I hope the models and art look better on high performance machines. I'll certainly buy the game. I hope that the gameplay and story focus save the awful artwork. 

It doesn't look like Star Wars to me, just some perverted cartoon version.

So much negativity here. I think it looks quite awsome.

The video's purpose was to show a few armor sets and unique skills you get along with the progression. I don't even think these armor sets are over the top,I mean it could be far worse (ala aion/wow w/e).

And everyone is QQ'ing about the slow combat? I think it looks pretty solid.

Sure the game is not for everyone, but I loved mass effect 1 and 2 and I just know Bioware is going to do a good job on this one.

Im so excited about this game, that last mercenary armorset was in-fricken-sane.  Cant wait....speaking of which, Im tired of waiting.  Realease it already.

FYI: There's something called a "Positive Troll", where the person doesn't like what the other says and trys to make them into a "lesser" person & calls THEM a troll. 

The facts are, that even if someone doesn't like what YOU like does NOT make them a troll.

If people are saying they don't like it, or it looks boring, or they can't understand why anyone is waiting for this game it's THEIR opinion & they're not here to get a response out of YOU specifically (aka: trolling).

My OPINION: This looks like shit, but then again i've already played SWTOR 10years ago (aka: Everquest). I also avoided WoW because it held no challenge, like this appears to be the same case TO ME.

for being probably the only one here that has played both betas of this game i can say ur all wrong the combat is fluid and yes ive taken on 10 guys at one time with me and my BH merc and companion healing me. If u like bioware games its basically a mass effect MMO the choices really matter with the outcomes of quests so if u go to kill a guy and decide to spare him for more money then you might face the wrath of some other person when u least expect it. Ive played alot of MMO's from Everquest WoW guildwars all the FTP korean games Vanguard AoC Startrek Champions online Rift City of heroes and i can tell u this game is absolutely a blast the PvP has alot of variety also no more gathering for goods urself have ur companion do it you have to much stuff in ur bag that u cant pick up anything else have ur companion go sell junk for u anyways its a blast quit hating till you try it

and if ur Pvping and your shooting a blaster at a jedi expect ur blaster bolts to be reflected constantly isnt that how the movies were? and the combat being slow is hilarious because ive played wow since the beginning and how popular that is the only time you really get to do a big battle is in raids this game has them almost every pull u can run and gun or hide behind cover if ur the right class and the graphics on a high end machine isnt cartoonish at all it actually has a more realistic feel then wow ever had and about the same as rift is now

I will buy it, no doubt about that, but the more I hear about this game the more I think it sounds like WoW. This was my most anticipated MMO of 2011. Now I'm actually more excited about Guild Wars II. Hopefully both will be great.

im currently playing Kotor again, the game dates from 2003 and it beats this clone wars shit by far in graphics. I still dont understand why they went for such awful graphics. This game is no what near to Star Wars in general.

I still hope deeply inside of me that the game wont fail simply because theres no alternative with SWG being dead since NGE.

The lack of classes, lack of customization, lack of skill-based advancement, lack of skill diversion, lack of graphics, lack of combat speed and the fact that there are levels make this game some sort of a damocles sword over BioWare.

Did you see the butts on those weird bee-like aliens? LOL! So stupid looking.

And. Is it just me or did the Bounty Hunter's get ripped off in the gun department? The tiny little handguns look like toys. I guess the Smuggler's stole all the good pistols?

Overall. Crap.

More videos they release like this, less I want to play it.

You can see how the graphics changed over the past couple years.  The facial animations are amazing compared to any other game out(or coming out, GW2.)

I think the game will have more success than many think even though I have chosen not to play it.  I also think that it will have the distinction of having most of its female players playing male characters because by comparison in polish and animations the female characters suk.
