Game: Star Wars: The Old Republic
Awsome
Just awsome
Fri Jun 11 2010 12:11PM Reportare not Malak and Raven subjects of a previous Star Wars game ?
I dont remember quite well... is it KotoR 1 ?
Fri Jun 11 2010 12:38PM ReportVery nice, very nice! Now the actual game will be just like this, with great deep background stories that would make you angry or happy.

Yes Revan and Malak are in KoToR 1.
After watching this video.. I am so much more excited to play this than before.
Fri Jun 11 2010 1:09PM Reportok then keep revan a good guy in a canon way now, but from what I remember revan took the sith way to change the republic because something, a bigger threath would come to the know galaxy and the way the republic was everything would be destroyed, Kotor2 mention this, in revan command he keep all factorys and all suport system intacts for later use, malak in other hand just wanted power and rule over all, and destroyed everything in his path, motive after the war he leave and then start kotor 2 with the exile a lot of that part of the history are not old to us and things are open to interpretation of happen or not happen, but the exile also follow revan in his former ship and the same R2.
ps. revan was the jedi civil war? its was not a previous war?
Fri Jun 11 2010 2:11PM ReportKotor 2 is not considered Canon because Bioware didnt make it. They are only using Kotor 1 and building on that story.
Fri Jun 11 2010 2:13PM ReportThis game is going to be amazing, at E3 i hope they show some more star war's clip's.
Fri Jun 11 2010 2:44PM ReportCould Revan have fallen a second time or could that have been his plan all along? He was a tactical genius, remember....perhaps that is what happened to him in the unknown regions.
Fri Jun 11 2010 3:02PM ReportSo there a 1 raid boss for us.
Fri Jun 11 2010 3:11PM ReportHa, I just played through Kotor, like, 3 times in the last 3 weeks.
Kotor 2 was made by obsidian, I think. Not bioware.
Alsop, this takes place several hundred years after Kotor. I'm pretty sure anyway :3
Fri Jun 11 2010 4:16PM ReportThey are doing some things of Kotor 2 (stated by writers), but it is obvious they're putting in their own canon here.
The explanation is that Kotor 2 happened mostly behind the shadows and the events weren't really made public.
Fri Jun 11 2010 4:44PM ReportIm stoked, please send me a beta invite, and hey letgs get this thing moving. We need something to put the nail in the coffin of LOTRO and swg for once and all.

But anyway they put some of its music.
Fri Jun 11 2010 10:08PM ReportKOTOR 2 is still recognized as canon regardless of who made the game.

Sat Jun 12 2010 1:36AM ReportBioware has already proven so far they are not following the Star Wars canon so it shouldn't be a surprise that they aren't adding KOTOR 2 canon material so far.
Sat Jun 12 2010 1:37AM ReportSlightly revisionist history given the fall of the pair. Not that I mind so much, as it creates a greater sense of forboding to give the evil empire more depth than just a looming threat.

Sat Jun 12 2010 4:41PM ReportNice read Lance. It made the video great.
Sun Jun 13 2010 10:20AM ReportAwesome, I knew this was coming and was looking forward to it.
Sun Jun 13 2010 12:02PM ReportSo it seems this will effectively be KOTOR 2a with Co-Op play...I am totally ok with that!
