Fadedbomb writes: It looks nice, but it's extremely contrasted by the complete crap character art style they went with. They made jedi look WAAYYY too cartoony, and bounty hunters look like they're using 1st grader weapons (you know, those plastic over-sized "child safe" toys that looks horridly cheap?). God, I hope they do SOMETHING to not ruin this genre with the game. They REALLY should have stuck with the KOTOR#1 artstyle/graphical engine. Fri May 01 2009 8:39PM Report
alin1209 writes: Very nice indeed.I am a big fan of the star wars series and i am impresed of this much detailes in each planet.Despides the complains about the cartonish stile that many complain about i think the game will doo more than fine.Thay trie to doo the game to be played also on low pcs specs. All i can say is that i trust Bioware that they will deliver a good game. whincupd writes: For me a game is exactly that, just a game, I like the chartoon twist on the artwork it for me is how all games should be. Didn't and hasn't hurt Nintendo. Having been into computer games for nearly 30 years since my spectrum days, ive seen all genre's and I have never liked those games that try to make a game realistic. Keep it chartoony please. Unive writes: I just hope the guys that are NOT involved in the artistic side of the game are as enthuastic as the asian guy was in this video. On another note this game better be polished from the day of launch. BIOWARE has absolutely no excuse to rush this game, they have way more than enough resource to launch a polished game. A VERY polished game. Mon May 04 2009 1:11AM Report

BlackWatch writes: I personally like what I'm seeing/hearing. I will agree that some of the classes look 'oversized/cartoon-esque', but I really do think there will be some fine-tuning and they will get this right. I am optimistic (cautiously). Afterall, Star Wars is my absolute favorite Sci-Fi/fictional world... period. Hopefully they can right all that SOE did wrong with this SW-MMORPG. Tue May 05 2009 9:18AM Report
Consensus writes: @cujo I agree the character art ingame is bad. at 4:44 I see the wreck on the ebon hawk. hope they continue the kotor storyline somewhat shame there is no kotor3. Tue May 05 2009 2:46PM Report

Abrahmm writes: The worlds would look 100x better if they didn't have the terrible, "hand drawn" terrain textures. Those textures really make the "worlds" look crappy. Wed May 06 2009 8:32PM Report

shakaama writes: why do they always skimp on character art? I understand they are trying to make sure people can render everyone in a city environment, but to dumb it down so much that people look like boxes takes away the appeal for me. 90% of my play will be looking at other pc's.
