Dark, cluttered, samey, even more restricted and linear than usual, artificially packed with groups of mobs every twenty yards, very little variety in mobs anyway... that's Taris. How much did you hate this awful, lazy piece of game design?

How much did you hate Taris? "I thought it was..."

...An unpleasant and obvious timesink".
...An incredibly bad piece of game design that should not have got past the first playability review"
"...A godawful mess that left me enraged because which I had to wade through if I wanted to find out how my story ended".
"...Pure garbage that sums up everything that's rotten about the game: developer-led design, not player-led design"
"...I loved it. I love everything about SWTOR'.

Taris didn't bother me a bit. Bel Savis, on the other hand, can suck dick in hell.

You forgot infinitely long back-and-forth runs between quest givers and quest points.

This planet was a nightmare, really.

Ha! That's nothing. If you're an Imperial Agency you have to go back to Drummond Kas for mission updates! That's about twelve loading screens right there! All because apparently there are no telephones in the Star Wars age.

Plying Eve's space lanes since 2003

I bought the Collector's Edition and had such high hopes for this game.

I'm back playing Eve Online already.

The reason I bought this game was because I took the advice of an over-enthusiastic friend.

Before I took the bad advice, my impression of SWTOR was that it was WoW in space. I was right.

And SWTOR is worse than WoW - at least in WoW you see enemy players occasionally and sometimes there are running battles.

I thought Coruscant was just as dissapointing as Taris

I hate all the planets. Nothing but kill 25 rat quests on all of them with stupid FedEX quests to break the monotony

Confident, cocky, lazy, dead.

Wouldn't be half as bad if it had day time lighting instead of the drabby murkiness and a few more wide and open areas to contrast the scaling of the rubbled mazy bits, really.

I quite liked Nar Shadaa. It was very beautiful so long as you didn't try to interact with the planet in any way, like moving, for example, since all the game play takes place in featureless tunnels, not outside amongst the lights and the advertisements.

Let go of my ears, I know what I'm doing!

I liked Taris, with the exception that they have you hoofing it to the hospital twice on the Republic side.  But like most planets, it seems like the Imperial questline is much better.

Balmorra is the one that annoys the crap out of me.  It's just annoying to try to get around with all the lifts, and it's kinda a "meh" design(with a Starship Troopers "Bug Planet" theme to boot).

Coruscant has worn out its welcome with me, too.  But that's likely because I've done the questline about a dozen times since beta.  Starting to feel that way about Dromund Kaas as well.

It's not really much different from the other zones tbh, maybe it's just the environment sorta how people complained that fallout 3s environment was a wasteland, yeah... what?

Taris is gloomy but needs more stuff like heavy rain, thunder storms, and a strong wind.

Can't even vote in your pole. You give 5 options for the game sucks and one fanboy response. I didnt have a problem with Taris, of course I came to this game from LoTRO where people have patience and a relaxed gaming attitude. If you are a twitch player who must advance as fast as possible, I can see how you hated it. It could feel drawn out if you spasm everytime you aren't seeing your progression progress. :)

They are all the same each and every one of them.. .... might as well /restart areas when completed and repeat the whole process again- that’s what it felt like for me..

All hail the Barn Owl! oh.. and the RED SQUIRREL!!!
