Hey, at least you got a reply of any kind.
Standard Proceedure for trouble tickets at Bioware: Step 1. Insert Fingers In Ears (or if you're upper management, some other random orifice.) Step 2. Close Your Eyes Really Tight Step 3. LALALALALALALALALALALALA I only visit the forums to ride the "Hype-to-Hate" roller coaster of every new title. |

Originally posted by pharazonic Yup, you're right about that one. It was supposed to be a 'bug' ... right, somehow it miraculously appeared at the end of free month. I've made plenty of tickets, recently more out of curiosity if the support got any better ... but it's still absolutly THE WORST customer support I've met. I am seriously considering unsubbing because of it despite I like the game and enjoy it.
You know what types of bugs I had? No talent trees, no items recieved, stuck in air, broken quests and more. The thing that irritates me the most is that the response I get is usually 'yes yes, we know its a bug, we're working on it'. Good, but in my ticket I've asked that gm would unstuck me, fixed my talent trees, gave the item back, delete the buggy quest from my log etc. They did nothing with those issues. Maybe I'm unlucky with the cs, but I call serious BS job there. My favourite was at the beginning when the site didn't acknowledge my retail key. CS wrote that they'll issue me another one ... and the next msg I got from them was some random robot crap that wasn't related to my issue at all .... I've just 'loled in tears' there. For another two weeks I was explaining stuff, quoting original CS messages and so on, but I gave up. Hopefully retailer that I bought it from gave me a new key, despite they didn't have to, but after explaining in the store what I went through he said I'm not the first one, and many other people wanted a refund for this game. This rant was longer than expected, but I am seriously amazed at the lack of any professionalism from Bioware CS.
So a warning to you fellow gamers, look out for CS in EUROPE - cause it all happened there, can't say for US brothers. |

Isn't customer service one of the bullets for justification of sub fees. Aboooouuutt thaaaaaaat. I only had one problem worthy of a ticket during my brief attempt at the game and it went unaswered so I guess it's getting better........

Originally posted by Loke666 It all depends on your attitude when you write the ticket actually. I have had close to 20 tickets sent in already ranging from item restores, bug reports, reporting people running farming macros, oh and a couple seriously pissed off ones. Every ticket I opened that was professional and polite, I had answered withing 48 hrs. The ones that gave all the details needed to find it, answered within 24 hrs. If I toss in a couple curse words and start demanding shit...2-3 weeks. You get exactly what you ask for when you put in your ticket. The people that work the tickets first just triage them, grab the ones they read and can forawrd through fast (good details, professional, polite). If its hard to figure out what you want, or you open it all jacked up in the wrong area, add a couple days as they get thier queues cleared out with the fast and easy first. If your an ass on it, it wil sit there for a while, most times you will get nothing but an automated response and nothign more on these. This is no different than anyone else when it comes to customer support. So dont try and say BW sucks more than others. They just make it more obvious that the others.

I have opened 4 tickets all have been answered by the next day except one.
The one that wasn't was a guy who went in a warzone and stood in a corner I couldn't get the other team to kill him. He did this over and over and over so we were always short one person and we were losing the matches.
My guess he paid a credit farmer to lvl his toon. How sad.
Yesterday caught the other team with some one in the corner so I killed him even thought that helped the other team. I know check the other teams corners for sleepers and disposel of them.

Just to follow up on my issue. I got an email from BioWare's customer service today stating that they've investigated the issue and I was right. Apparently there was some error on their end. The reason I posted this update was to let people know that at least some issues get handled in a timely manner. Only took about 24 hours for customer service to get back to me, which still falls under "reasonable" in my opinion, since I contacted them via email. I'm not dismissing other people's problems, BioWare obviously has some issues with their setup. I mean inactive accounts shouldn't get suspended for spamming since they are unplayable. Besides that, suspending an inactive account is a bit redundant lol.
