Originally posted by Karteli It was 6 weeks from 1.4 to 1.5 and probably another 6 weeks or less for the 1.6, after that probably Makeb. It wont be easy to bring new content every 6 weeks, hope they can keep doing it. The HEROIC space combat mission is not the ¨secret space combat proyect¨, by the end of the year we will know more about that i guess. |

Originally posted by keithian Ehm, who are you again? And where have i said otherwise? In fact ive written a condition where he will totally be in love with the game, considering his statements. L2Read bro Originally posted by hikaru77 26.9. - 15.11. L2Count bro rofl Obvious fanboism is obvious. They failed at first step. And so you know what fanbois on forums were saying? "They didnt say there will be an update every 6 weeks, but that they AIM to have an update every 6 weeks" lol And even if they stick to 6 weeks it equates 1 proper update every 6 MONTHS. Thats slow. VERY slow. |

Originally posted by mikahr It's so obvious there are marketing people from EA/Bioware on these forum, getting paid for subtly hyping the game, that I really don't understand how can you get upset over their threads and posts. Let them earn their salary and just ignore them if it bothers you so much. Granted, this is common for other games and forums as well, but some are more subtle than others. |

Originally posted by DeniZg Meh, i dont get upset, i just enjoy pointing their obviousness :) And 1,5 was so...small...i mean 1 small area with 6 dailies (yawn) and questline that mostly consisted of reusng old content and very complex "spawn thingy randomly placed on teh planet and let player wonder aimlessly maybe for hours to find itx5 (old)planets(zones)" yawn 1,6 is warzone (ok) and some rehashed space missions with doubled hp/damage opponents so you must upgrade your gear (big big yawn) |

The new Ancient Hypergate Warzone is actually just a dumbed down version of Warhammer On-Line's "Khaine's Embrace" scenario. Instead of 12 vs. 12, it's 8 vs. 8. It has been even further dumbed down that instead of needing to capture both pylons (as it was playable at E3) for the explosion to trigger, now it's just on a two and a half minute timer. But whatever. Go Gabe go. Tangental, EA has decided to spin Mythic off from Bioware again. Mythic is its own (albeit fallen from grace) own division again. |

So, adding daily additional farm missions for gear progression isn't all that bad. The geargrind system isn't great itself but adding options is a positive thing. |

Originally posted by skydiver12 From the looks of it, it appears to be another month of treadmilling.. round and round!!.. Upping the degree of dificulty is not new content.. In fact it's lazy sloppy designing.. Don't get me wrong.. I'm not saying that tier progression shouldn't be in games, but I view them as side mini-games.. and should in no way be confused as "new" content or be the focus of any patches.. |

Originally posted by skydiver12 If they dont award BH comms then they are not part of the geargrind, and are just as useless as other dailies (those were obsolete back in January). |

The first set of dailys have a purpose, and that was money to counter the money sinks. Don't get me wrong i'm no fan of gear treadmill at all. But additional options to keep one busy are not bad, even for such a system. |

Originally posted by DeniZg I rofl on this on. Do you really think that nobody loves this game? That if you think it's bad everybody has to think the same way? Take my word, there is plenty of people who love SWTOR and who want it to succeed. I am one of them and not the only one. Please do not insult people who bring information about the game and it's new content and who express their love for game. Thanks

Originally posted by Ahnog Well, considering they claimed before they will have full update every month...raising that to 6 weeks would be OK. Raising that to 6 months...well thats quite a change. And dont forget, no story updates, just mundane generic stuff like few dailies/wz/raid/FP. Its still paifully slow, man i almost feel sorry for not liking Rift rofl 4 weeks for this kind of miniscule updates is TOPS. If they cannot churn it out faster...reeks of skeleton crew. that would equate 3 normal updates a year. Anything less is DEFINATELY not worth money they ask for (considering competition, and, well, general quality of the product) and i wouldnt call it AAA title any more. |

I am happy with them releasing this amount of content every six weeks, as opposed to games like WOW releasing maybe 2.5 times this much twice per year. MMOs are perfect for these kinds of minor and persistent updates.
Unfortunately, I am severely let down by the cost of HK for alts and the lack of story quest dialogue for him. HK feels watered down. Error: 37. Signature not found. Please connect to my server for signature access. |
