I recall Bioware teased us with the secret, who the Emperor is, and people speculated for a long time. Having played Jedi Knight and Sith Inq. to the end, and some other chars to mid levels, I found out nothing. So, does anyknow know? Or were we must misled, and the Emperor is just some dude?? Holy Trinity who art in our MMORPGs! Blessed be thy speccs, as in WOW so in all MMOs! Our daily loot grant us, and forgive us our noobness, as we forgive the noobs! And do not lead us to disconnects, But deliver us from mediocrity, For thine is the specialization and the teamwork and the endgame, Until cancellation, Amen! |

To not spoil anything... The best information about Emperor and his roots can be found in Drew Kapryshyn's book Revan, which is one the the SWTOR books based on the game. Game itself is very enigmatic about his Identity... probably because the facts about Emperor are known only to few: Revan and Scourge. The new SWTOR Encyclopedia provides some information about Emperor and his power base. That is a perfect match to Drew's book. If you play Sith Warrior after finishing Class story you are getting emails from Emperor's Hand about the assasination attempt on Emperor and that Emperor is weakened and needs time in seclusion to regain his strength...
Edit: Sith Warrior as Emperor Wrath is the closest to Emperor from any other classes in SWTOR.

Emperor Identity was always a secret in itself... the question is... who will be the next emeror. As we all know he is weakened now and knowing sith apetite for power, there will be many to try to overpower him now. Is game is going to take us in the power grab direction?

Originally posted by Sevenstar61 The story for SWTOR ended with F2P. It is what it is now and will always be. They will never be able to fund the voice acting, cut scenes, and writing staff needed to wrap up or build on any of the class storylines further than what is there now ... It is now about milking players for all the profit they can rather than further developing the game. Might as well leave the Emperor dead and get ready to buy X-Wings and Darth Maul's ship from the cash shop...
And no. I am not a hater and I don't take any pleasure in writing thatl. |
