I went through all the Perks in the legacy window and theres not a single Perk worth getting for any of my characters.

i couldnt find just one single perk of all these useless icons that was good or or motivating enough to work for.

The horrible high cost of some perks is just outrageous considering their lousy effects on the game.

Why is the Perk system in SWTOR just a useless table with ineffective stuff that no one really needs ?

Compare this perk system to Anarchy Online, Everquest AA etc etc... its just lousy....

someone enlighten please........

The legacy system is not a very good selling point for me.  It's definitely not something that would make me want to resubscribe.

The bonus's are silly .. really, a Jedi spends his whole life in a temple learning to use the force, and then some relative (your alts) get to use those abilities also, even if they are non-force users.  I guess it was just supposed to be cute and whimsical, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth in regards to SW lore, and I'm not even a very big SW fanatic.  The other perks were all "meh" also.

It seems to promote playing alt after alt, to get the companion presence boosts, but I don't want to play alts anyways .. so the whole system seems like a waste of time to implement, when there were plenty of cool ideas still buried somewhere on the Wall of Crazy, along with a much needed engine replacement / revamp.

The legacy system grind (xp / $$ credits) and forced playing of alts to become more powerful is a huge hinderance to resubscribing any time soon, for me.

Recognize the voice? Yep sounds like Penny Arcade's Extra Credits.

I like the game but I'd have to agree. The legacy perks are way too pricey and worse than useless.  More character advancement would have been preferred over the time spent with this fluff. More content maybe. Different race unlocks that are  not human looking..not just class unlocks for already existing races. Anything but what we were given.

The only thing I DID like was opening up one skill for all your legacy players based on Maxed characters. People complain about it but there are various levels of force users. You don't have to be a Jedi/Sith to use the force....just to use it very well. A bounty hunter with enough sensitivity to just force push or choke shouldn't bother people.  Neither should a Sith inquisitor with a wrist flame thrower as a surprise. Makes sense to me. Plus ..its only one ability shared..not the whole freaking tree. I'm not even sure how many can be used. Like if all legacy characters are max level each can only choose one out-of-class legacy perk ability right? T

Perks should be something special and motivating to play. Swtor Perks offer nothing than a little % for this and another little useless % for that.

Nothing to be proud of, nothing that is worth the time........

The developers of SWTOR are just to old for this market, they balance and calculate everything to its maximum until the game became boring and static.

Its the wrong people working at this game ! Trust me because i am an  >>

I thought the legacy items were a complete waste of time also.

I mean, the overall idea was pretty cool, having perks that benefit all your characters,  but the excution was horrible. It ended up being that I could care less about the legacy system because the perks were crap.

still not sure what to make of the legacy system, i can't really say that theres anything there that i've seen so far that has that, 'i must have that perk' kind of thing, levelling up legacy is pretty slow anyway, i can't really say that its added anything to the game.

Even if you have all these Perks your characters wont profit much because they are all useless and only eating up your lifetime.

only the legacy main Buff transfer to your new chars is usefull but thats it and you need to play 4 classes to at least level 40 to have them all 4...
