Over 500+ on the fleet, I don;t know about you but this game has been jamed packed, It's been like this for the last few weeks.

I do agree there are some servers that need a merger but over all this game is going strong.

P.S. like my GUI, I made it custom for a Razor Naga. You can download it below: )

hehe, I agree.  The server I play on has been hoppin' as well.  Something I'm grateful for.  Admitedly we all knew that 1.2 was going to draw back some people, the world event is a big shot in the arm too.  We'll just have to see if those who came back stick around or not, that's the true test.

To those that say no test needed, it's obvious this game is going to be epic awesome forever, only time will tell.

To those that say heck no, it's all smoke and mirrors and this game is prepackaged fail, only time will tell.

One server with 144 people in fleet means nothing. You also have to take into consideration the 7 day reactivation and all the buddy keys which EA/Bioware recently have handed out. Before this, all metrics showed a decline and once the trials and what not are over it will go back to the decline.

And the reason is simple, game has not much longetivity and alot of repeteated content if you reroll.

Didn't realize they allowed 144 people in the Coruscant instance.

Anyway... of course there will be a ton of people in your screenshot... you're obviously massed to kil a world boss... duh!

But - yes.  It appears there has been a bit of an uptick surrounding the free trials, new patch and free gametime handout.  I guess we'll see how it plays out over the next few weeks... is it a sign of an improving player population, or just a temporary blip in the slide.

No the Rep Fleet have over 400+

Imp Fleet have close to 600

I'm leveling a new toon and just got to Taris  and that zone had 120 people, Imp side is even more.

The new legacy system gives me a reason to play, I want all the class buffs for my main, that sould give Bioware time to create more content so i'm happy.

Each zone instance holds a max of 300 people, after that the zone creates a new shard, fleets allway for the most part have 2 shards, Fleet 1 & Fleet 2

Could this server be Tomb of Freedon Nadd?

I'm also playing on that one. And it's the ONLY active PvP EU server. I like the server, but if it's fail or not...

NGE > NGE 2, LOTRO > NGE 2, STO > NGE 2, KOTOR > NGE 2, Lego Star Wars > NGE 2. NGE 2 = SWTOR

Yep, and 1.2 update with new stuff and the 30 days promotion - people are battling their way to unlock legacy level 6 before April 22ns to get the free 30 days, which is good for now, but once people reach near end game, more people will cancel sooner than if there was no 30 days promotion, as people would still be taking their time.

The free 30 days should have been granted to all those who remained subbed since day 1. I would not have qualified for 30 days free then, but would have been better for the game than what they did do.

This is on TOFN, the only active EU server.

A couple of others are not dead yet, but are on the way.

Iplay SWTOR but atm it is very rare i see anyone, wether or not i,m in tattoine,or alder. to put it bluntly i see more population playing vanguard than i do in this game.i have come to realise this is just a solo game.i have to bypass all heroics or anything that resembles a group.which is quite sad considering this game is a new release.dont get me wrong i do  enjoy playing but has far as i,m concerned i,m just passing time until TSW OR  GW2 is released.its really going to be interesting to see how they do updated content with this game.considering the declining population.

I do not like to see any game fail..especially one that i pay for .i do wish bioware all the best but they should have realised when they released this game that it was too instanced..way to many servers for the population atm..think they better do some server merges soon or they will lose a lot more subs.

I got an email from SWTOR yesterday that said if I would log back onto my account that I would have a free Legacy Pet, whatever that is. I have a 6 month prepaid account (We all make mistakes, nobody is perfect) that can just set there. They are basically paying people to play with them. I was treated very roughly by that game's staff. The worst I have ever been treated in any game. That on top of the real, intrinsic problems with the game you see posted in these forums. They make Sony look like NASA. I suspect when the free stuff runs out, as well as curiosity about the patch, that it will be a ghost town.

Honestly, there are a couple servers in each region where everyone as migrated to (a couple, out of dozens) that have healthy populations. All of the others are ghost towns.

Even SWG had more heavy servers before the sun-setting was announced.

Yeah what will happen when soon to be Mo's such as GW2/TSW/Salem/Vanguard F2P/PS2  Launch and even the game i'm following The Repopulation has taken elements of old SWG and i predict when fully launched will pull in the remaining old guard clinging onto some vestige of the Starwars IP, and i'ts pre-NGE open world open ended skills system and not some generic cookie cutter abortion.

Then there is the  one in my head and unless the mods are psychic then all is well,so  unless Bioware do something drastic which is unlikely as the bastardised version of their defunct version of the hero engine probably will not allow vast game changes,so they will be sending SWTOR F2P by at least year end as then we have Archeage to put the nail in it's P2P coffin.

I thought 300 is the max per zone? There were lots of people on the fleet because of the infection daily, tatooine is pretty packed right now too due to the world event.

I somewhat don't believe the OP, the 500 people on fleet...

All this thread needs is another guy claiming the Fatman pop is indicative of a healthy general pop.

Also please post unaltered screens of 500 & 600 player instances.
