    KingsIsle and Gamestop have come up with another mega-deal for folks purchasing a pre-paid Wizard101 game card. The Wizard101 Mega-Bundle features a slew of in-game perks including a flying carpet mount, a snake in a basket pet, and a huge Sultan's palace. The card retails for $39.00.

    KingsIsle has revealed some terrific Wizard101 data gleaned from a survey conducted by Trinity University. The survey included over 30,000 Wizard101 player volunteers across all age groups and was designed to assess the viability of intergenerational play in Wizard101.

  • Hot Young Talent Scoring Wintertusk Zone

    KingsIsle is playing its cards close to the vest with the announcement that one of today's "hot young musical artists" is creating the score for the upcoming Wizard101 Wintertusk zone. Developers plan to drop hints as to the identity of the mystery composer over the next several weeks so it will be worth keeping an eye on the official site and the Wizard101 Facebook page.

  • Introducing Wintertusk

    In a recent conversation with KingsIsle's Fred Howard, MMORPG.com News Manager Suzie Ford had the opportunity to hear about the brand new Wizard101 Wintertusk zone that is now live on the public test server.   • Mount-a-Palooza

    The Wizard101 team has let us know that in-game permanent mounts are now up to 50% off. Retired mounts and never-before-seen mounts are also included in the Mount-a-Palooza event. In addition, devs have a surprise: Mounts will soon be able to walk around a player's home similar to the way pets currently do.

    KingsIsle has announced that a new Wizard101 world is in development. Called 'Wintertusk', the new zone will continue the storyline started in the Grizzelheim game world. Along with the new world, devs are promising new spells, new level 58 pets, quests and more.

  • Frogs in Space

    Last week, NASA published a new image taken with the Hubble Telescope of a mysterious object in deep space. After viewing the photo, Wizard101 developers and the Spiral Geographic Society began their own research and have taken a new photo of the same area. It appears that the mysterious object may in fact be a Humongfrog creature.

    The KingsIsle team and Gameforge have announced that the beta phase of Wizard101 has launched in the United Kingdom! Players interested in signing on for the beta need to visit the game's official UK site. Gameforge and KingsIsle have plans to localize Wizard101 specifically for the European market.

  • Gardening Now Live

    KingsIsle and the Wizard101 team have announced that the new gardening system is now in place on all live servers. In addition, a new plant, The Giving Tree, has been added to the Crown Shop with an altruistic feature. For each sale, KingsIsle will donate the net proceeds, evenly divided, to two Texas organizations devoted to helping children: the Austin Children's Shelter located in Austin, Texas, and Children's Medical Center at Legacy, a pediatric hospital located in Plano, Texas.

  • Mini-Games Hit the Web

    Wizard101 players now have the chance to play their favorite mini-games on the Net with the chance to win in-game swag, game codes and gold just for doing so. The site, KIFreeGames.com, has officially launched with mini games Dueling Diego, Sorcery Stones and Doodle Dug. Fans can also download mobile ringtones, coloring pages for the kids and desktop backgrounds. There's even a link to a Wizard Blox game for iOS devices.
