salenger writes: I tried really hard to enjoy this game, its a true sandbox with a beautiful even if small world to play in. But the problems with Mortal Online are just wat too harsh for any gamer to put up with and continue to pump time into. The amount of Bugs that are present are just so enormous that it kills any fun the game can have. Put it this was farming animals was more than frustrating as many bug out, disapear etc. The reason why i cancelled my sub after two months will pretty much tell how poor the game is. I had worked with two accounts, 6 character for 3 months saving almost all the gold i made from mining and farming/butchering in order to build a house which i was reading the books for on an idle character, I finally achieved this goal of 500g for the deed another 800g for the expansion/workshop. I move my fighter to get all the gold from my other characters via mail. Then i hope on my horse and start riding to meduli so i can buy the Roman styled tier 3 house deed. Shortly after i leave Morin Khur i approach a hill in which i have rode down two dozen times prior at the least. But this time the game bugs out my horse goes into the hill and all the sudden im flying half in the ground and half above it (hill was not steep and i was not carrying anything aside from the gold) then i get stuck for a moment...then death. And within 5 minutes of me dying and returning i lose my 500g to some random player that was passing by. Now another story is that in my guild IRC i stated is anyone near that can help me a trading Guild called JAWA, which is full mostly of friendly people except one..He moved one of his characters there and i saw him untagged asked him if he got it he said no he got there after me, seconds later another player from another guild is seen i ask him he says nothing, but his guild keep was right near where i died, minutes later after i tell JAWA im done with Mortal for the amount of time i spent to lose my GOld to a game bug like that..I get a friend request from a guild member of the clans keep that was near where i died. and get this via tells he tells me that The Leader of JAWA had immediately sent them a message via IRC stating where i had died and how much gold i had on me. Yes very lame...i noyl bring this into the review so anyone who wants to try this game avoids JAWA player Veradey at all costs. None the less the game is just too plagued with Bug that cause serious frustration when you can lose everything not to a player but because of a game bug...so with that said Mortal Online is not a good game to invest time into for anyone. at all. Arthegon writes: I hvae played UO and then quite recently, Darkfall.. this game is MUCH "deeper" than those two. Ofcourse UO doesnt compare on graphics/sound at all. MO makes a very very good impression on me. (I have played for a week, but decided to subscribe on day 3 ) :)) I love challenging games, with danger, hardcore full loot PvP, exploration, and in this case there so so much more than PvP. Skilling up is quick and relatively easy, but the nuances are just too numerous! I liked DF, but I have a feeling I will love MO.. :) If you enjoy SKILLED PvP (where you actually do more than point and click) - try this. Sat Mar 17 2012 9:40AM

nortoni writes: If you like PK, Griefing, and pseudo-PvP where the main players are bolstered as needed by the GM staff you'll love this game except for the lousy game mechanics. There may be a game mechanic that works but it isn't exactly highly visible. Hint: Join the guild AQ or one allied with them and you can't do wrong! Sat Aug 20 2011 5:35PM
