Maybe its because all the payed avertisers on the site have boring autoattack mmo's where u hit 1-10 mindlessly and get spoon fed content to you and u need to defend them?

Sorry that SV doesn't have the money to pay for for advertisements mmorpg.com but your bias attacks against positive reviews for an indy game is pathetic.

Awaiting my ban, will never come to this terribe site again. Try supporting indy games instead of purposefully attacking them with your mods mmorpg.com. Players wont stand for it.

So I'm not allowed to post about what I like about something in an mmo becuase something else said something similar?

Take a look at the posts again, they are not close to being the same.

As a player of sandbox games I applaud the MODS for recognising the marketing going on here.

What you are doing is not allowed for ANY GAME on these forums, from a large studio to man in his bedroom. Advertising and referal programs are a big no and you fit the bill to a tee.

They were somilar and the title was almost identical. Why not post your thoughts on the other thread? Or create a new one with different title... Oh wait, you already did that.

Ive noticed quite a few MO threads spark flame wars. may be a possible reason or this is a duplicate thread. that would do it too xD

The question is who is a genuine player and who is a marketing shill for SV. Given your lack of posts for 4 years then a sudden flurry of spam all supporting MO and in duplicate threads (and the history of new accounts promoting MO and lying about population) , then I think the MODS were quite right to treat your thread with suspicion.

At least they didn't ban your account, like they would on the MO forums for expressing your opinion.

Yeah, I am sure mods over at MOFO are lot better, where they delete threads instead of locking them simply because they express an opinion different to one the Henrik wants everyone to believe in, as they did with a recent thread about negative newbie experince.

While there is a lot of hypocrisy on these forums including what is allowed/not allowed. I would have to agree that those threads all feel like blatent marketing ads and overlap a great deal with oneanother. It is funny the mods give extra scrutiny to the MO boards or maybe its just shill central over here.

The latter, in company docs Henrik stated their main advertising focus would be viral marketing.

The mods delete them because MO is so terrible that it deserves zero positive posts.

Taken from the MMORPG.com forum rules -

"If it is within reason that a game clearly garners a a status of "terrible" by more than 99% of the people that have played it, mods shall be given full rights to lock or even delete threads that attempt to paint the game in a more positive light."

So there it is. Everything they're doing is legit.

I honestly hope this is just some fan movement and not actually triggered by SV, since despite my dislike for the company I credit them bit higher than this, thinking such cheap hype posts would do any difference.

Since SV has repeatedly asked it's players to promote the game on forums.... yeah would't credit them that highly.
