Code_Warrior writes: Great little game! Been playing it since before it went Open Source. Crank the graphic settings up if you think they are dated and have a second look. I'm looking forward to more content and additions now that the community has a hand in it's development. Sat May 08 2010 4:38AM

Low population well depends on what you need, if you judge a population by global chat being filled with idiots then no, but if you mean people who actually help and answer question, then yes. I'm loving it. Give it a try and try not to judge by the first few hours. its amazing how people forget that when wow first came out, there were no guides, you simply had to take the time to learn the game. AlysenMinase writes: The graphics are dated, but the style makes up for them somewhat. Animations are smooth, so that's a plus. The sound is kinda mixed for me. The music was some of the best I've heard in an MMO, but the a lot of the sound effects sounded low quality. There's so much to edit while RPing in this game, you can give your characters bios, birthdates, parents, etc. The community is one of the best in any game I've played, they are very mature and helpful. It ran perfect on my com with everything set to max. The gameplay is where this game shines, there's so much customization when making a character and while playing. Anyone looking for a unique yet fun MMO try the demo. Wed Mar 24 2010 8:30PM

fatenabu1 writes: Hello I loved this game, best MMO since Ultima Online. I currently do not play due too being poor, married and have a kid but when I played when it went f2p for a short period of time it was fantastic. It has good sandbox elements one can level multiple skills etc. I really enjoyed the environment as well, very interactive. Great game. Wed Jan 13 2010 1:08PM
green13 writes: Ryzom is a marvellous game. While its graphics are a bit old, the artwork is truly breathtaking. It has the most alive gameworld I've ever played in. There are seaons that affect where and how many mobs spawn, and also the availability of materials to harvest for crafting. Animal mobs have simple, but realistic AI. Predators will periodically attack prey. And no mob just stands still waiting to be killed or snuck around... Ryzom also has by far the best harvesting and crafting system I've seen. This is the only mmo I've played where I've actually enjoyed harvesting and crafting as opposed to viewing them as something I have to grind through to be able to make stuff I need for combat. And for those who don't like to be limited by class choices, Ryzom has none. Players can learn any and every skill without limit. But this doesn't eliminate roles in combat. Equipment will buff and debuff certain skills so eg. if you're fully decked out in heavy armour, your magic spells will be weak and very expensive. As for spells and abilities, players can customise these to give themselves more options in combat, eg. increasing or decreasing damage at the expense of higher casting cost and/or time. This is a cleverly designed game that definitely isn't an EQ/WoW clone. Fri Dec 25 2009 6:14PM
